Ben Pearson Hunter 709 Recurve shooting

I'm glad to see you're using that bow over there in Europe. It was made in my hometown of Pine Bluff Arkansas and that bow was probably made by my grandmother. I'm making a documentary film about Ben Pearson.

On Ben Pearson bows an "X" before means subtract one pound and an "X" after the number means add one pound. Two X's before means subtract two pounds. So XX45# means 43# Likewise, 45XX# would mean 47#. If you remove the arrow side-plate from the bow you should see a large number 43 stamped on the bow.

Great shooting my friend.. Great old bows.. I have a Ben Pearson all wood bow from 1938 I dont shoot it much.. But they sure did make nice bows.. The carbon arrows u are shooting look they they fly nice..
