But over the years , and having listened to a lot of authors (I'm referring to "masters" of lyrics, such as Dylan, Cohen, Waits, De Andre...), I find Iron Maiden's (mainly, Harris's) songwriting a little too banal, too ...how should I say, it's like when a teenager writes his first poem. I don't think it's bad, just that it has that "first try" feel.

And again, metaphores and atributes aside, it's still "Escape from NY". :)
