  • Can someone tell me please what did he say at 0:53 to 1:10

  • @IMFORRESTFORRESTGUMP "I owe you a lot, Tom... And from the bottom of my heart, if I were John Coffey and I had to express what I feel for you right now, every light bulb in this place would explode."

the part about John Coffey and light bulbs is in reference to The Green Mile, the film that Tom and Michael worked together on. in the movie, Michael plays John Coffey, a man with supernatural healing powers. a side effect to his powers is that light bulbs explode due to the force of his powers.

  • @MNico1992 Thank you very much . Best regards

  • How did they get him into that tuxedo? He's HUGE!

  • green mile is my favorite movie!!!! michael the best performance

  • I wanna hug him. <3

  • Percy pressed dislike. Man, I cried when he killed that mouse. And I cried again when John turned it back alive. I cried during the whole movie 'The Green Mile'

  • I watched The Green Mile today. It was the most beautiful movie I've ever seen. I couldn't stop crying those three hours. I love it.

  • Percy came out of his retarded coma and pressed the dislike button lol.

  • @2800boy HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I LOVED the Green Mile! He plays such loveable roles, you just wanna hug him.

The only role I DIDN'T like him in was Kingpin, and he STILL made me somewhat like the character!

  • Only ONE guy don't like it... missing the "like button" ?

  • TOm Hanks and Micheal Clark are all some of the greatest actors and coolest people at the same time.. They are still so appreciative of what they have from all the fans and their hard work :)

  • His voice is so adoreble<3

  • Outrageous! that man was so massive it looks almost unhuman.

  • MOST EPIC AND HEARTFELT MOVIE EVER

  • It's Black Caesar! lol Watch his interview with Craig Ferguson on youtube.

Anyways, I'm very happy for his success. Can't believe he's only a year younger than Tom Hanks.

  • Chill out, Nimrod. Nobody gives a toss who wins the oscars any more and I'm sure Michael Clarke Duncan isn't having any sleepless nights, either.

  • pretty sick that he didnt get an oscar for that performance he did in the green mile..its one of the best perfomance ever on the screen and he didnt get an oscar?what a joke..must be because he wasnt a famous actor before that and that he was a bodyguard or his skin colour....i guess noone remember who got the oscar that year.

  • oh my god, how beautiful speech is that!!!!

  • man 1999 had some good movies that year. The green mile, the matrix, the sixth sense, ect.

  • Forrest Gump is a great movie to :D

  • What an all around great guy.......he is one of the best people in hollywood ever in my opinion.

  • Michael Clarke Duncan has a golden voice too! But... he is not homeless, and he is an actor, not a youtube star.

  • THE GREEN MILE ALL THE WAY!

  • @90sambabam2. you have never watched the green mile did you?

  • HOW THE F**K DIDNT MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN GET A OSCAR?!?!?!

  • @90sambabam2 Cuz he played benjamin king in saints row obvsly

  • yeah, the Green Mile is one great movie.....one of the all-time best.

  • He is fucking huge !!

  • @hurgita i know

  • he should be more famous.

  • WELL HELLO BOSS

  • Michael Clark Duncan definitely doesn't get enough recognition!

  • @pumpkill maybe thats the best that can happen to a first class actor

  • isn't that guy like incredibly buff?

  • Why did he bother to stand up?

  • I think this guy would be a good singer too. He has a deep and strong voice!

  • Never seen any actor expresses how he/she feels towards a colegue, while acting or out of the seen, better than Michael did. Even though English is not my mother tongue i really felt every single word he said in my heart.

    Thanx 4 uploading this video

  • m.c.d is a really good actor i think he should get more better roles then hes been getting i don't think its fair to waist such a talented person on dum movies like street fighter.

  • je l'adore cet acteur, je te souhaite une grande réussite pour ta carrière

  • in green mile when micheal dies i nearly cry but when i watch dare devil and he almost dies i nearly laugh

    weird

  • MCD also played a pretty good "bad guy" in Daredevil.

  • I echo most of the sentiments here. It is such a wonderful balance of action (Wild Bill going...well...wild) to miracles (from mouse to Moores) to humor (Old Toot help with execution rehearsal.) But for me the most moving part was at the very end when, in the nursing home, the senior Paul Edgecomb's friend Ellie comes to realize that the whole story was true and I could feel Paul's torment that he would be there to see Ellie die.

Also it was very true to the book which I read first.

  • michael clarke duncan and tom hanks are realy great actors

    i love this movie

maybe it's the best movie i've ever seen

  • his voice is really really deep

  • Michael Clarke Duncan's portrayal of John Coffey in the Green Mile is one for the ages. No one would have been better for that role.

  • I'm a 24 year old Man but in the part of The Green Mile where they execute John Coffey it brings a tear to my eye

  • He should voice a GPS

  • @sluggo06 hahahaha

  • @sluggo06 Turn left at Spooner street.

  • @sluggo06 LOL

  • @sluggo06 I would like that GPS.

  • people dont be mad, the thumbs down was made by someone who was crying so much he missed to like button by mistake, NO ONE can thumbs down to these two actors

  • it s like tom and his gf or whatever have a fork litterally up their asses, what s with the face???? it s like they r holding in diaohrrea or smth, chill damn! rofl

  • Fuck...I could use his suit as a tent...:-)

  • tom hanks best known as Ray Peterson

  • Wow, only one thumb down lol.

  • "well, hello, Boss..." i love Mr. Duncan :)

  • Boy, Tom's wife Rita is still plenty Hot too!

  • i just seen 3 hours of "The green mile" and i cant stop crying i really recommand EVERYONE to watch that movie

  • I love playing the Green Mile with my eyes closed and pretending Woody is an executioner. Really fucks up your childhood.

  • @Nonsaneness That is so true. I love this comment. Made the wife and I laugh.

  • Tom hanks is so great...and MCD is such a class act! Beautiful!

  • I'm sure the day will never come, but if they ever do a "Star Wars" remake, this dude should play Vader. He would kick so much ass.

  • He's a gentle giant - But I'm sure no one with any brains gives him any LIP.....

  • His vocal chords must be sooo beautiful

  • i just wish i have a voice like that..

  • Any notice who is in the back ground there? Mr. Celebrity rehab himself

  • Godlike voice.

  • wish i was that tall and i want that deep powerful voice :(

  • Every Lightblub in this place would explode. I love that

  • That was really nice.

  • Man, what a voice. =)

  • @ 0.27, Is that the actor who played Lieutenant Dan in Forest Gump?

  • @TheSmithCro of course it is!

  • @karzan10 Thanks alot.

BTW That is a pretty cool reference to The Green Mile when he mentions the lightbulbs.

  • @TheSmithCro indeed

  • Comment removed

  • If God talked to us, this would be the voice. Super Powerful voice. But what a nice guy, eh?

  • @DevilRebellion

He makes James Earl Jones sound like Woody Allen !

  • @knoxvilleguy2 haha nice comparison. James Earl Jones is Darth Vader right? And Moufasa from The Lion King.

  • @DevilRebellion

yep, & he provided the voice - over for CNN for a long time too.

JEJ & Michael Clarke Duncan are 2 cool actors.

  • @DevilRebellion

    CLASS ACT, all the way.....

  • @DevilRebellion

& if I heard his his voice OR James Earl Jones' w / out seeing them, I think my 1st reaction would be " God ? Is that You ? " ;-)

  • @knoxvilleguy2 LMAO I would definitely think that. That's God's voice RIGHT THERE!

  • @DevilRebellion

A deep Bass that come from somewhere near his shoes & rises to his esophagus.....

  • @DevilRebellion A deep rich bass originating near his SHOES heading towards his esophagus.....

  • He haves a godly voice.

  • he reminds me of coach in l4d2

  • He is VERY tall, and funny =).

  • michael duncan rules

  • I like Tom Hanks, but I think far too much adulation is thrown at actors. Doctors, cops and fireman save lives every day and they don't get recognised on this sort of scale.

  • @Tehui1974 Very true.

  • @Tehui1974 well said. very very well said..

  • if those Doctors, cops and fireman would make a movie about then maibe!

  • @jubielwilder If Tom Hanks saved somebody's life, then maybe

  • @Tehui1974 They should all have the same adulation in my eyes , just like every hard working good person on this earth.

  • @Tehui1974 Jesus, ya kidding me? There are "God Bless the Heroes" events given for cops, firemen, soldiers, etc. every day. This is the American FILM Institute, honoring an ACTOR. In case you didn't know, actors star in films. This isn't a random public ceremony. Its given for an actor by his peers.

    So shut up.

  • @Nelsonhojax15 The eulogy like adulation is way over the top. It's not like Tom Hanks is being awarded the nobel peace prize, he's just an actor for F sake.

  • @Tehui1974 I have never been able to watch the Oscars, all those insanely rich people wallowing in their own greatness, schmoozing with each other... Christ.

  • 2 awesome guys hanks and duncan

  • Duncan is such a sweet man and an incredible actor. I will always love the Green Mile :)

  • My respect for Michael Clarke Duncan just doubled.

  • i'm so glad he isn't executed!!

  • Tom Hanks = GOD

  • I JUST now finished watching Green Mile it was AWESOME!

  • cool.

  • OMG, the Green Mile is my fav movie of all time!! Everytime I see that movie I cry. I just love Tom Hanks.

  • @butterflywings357 My favourite movie of all time is the other Frank Darabont movie shawshank redemption. But I honestly believe if anyone could have played Andy dufresne in shawshank better than Tim Robbins then it would have been Tom Hanks. BTW Green Mile is atleast one my favourite movies. I really like Darabont's direction and Stephen King's writing. Pure magic!. Another great movie of King is Stand by me but directed by Rob Reiner. That took me to my childhood.

  • master chief?

  • gametrailers sent you?

  • Michael Clarke Duncan.... the true definition of a gentle giant.

  • @UnderWooder

A real gentleman. I've heard him before. He's consistent.

  • @UnderWooder you couldnt have said it any better

  • Any black actor that chose the thuggish, pants sagging, 40oz drinking roles and none of these actors that you listed portray those type of characters. So there I hope that answers your question.
