There was a blue spot on the back of the card on the middle.

And he got the chocolate when he put the pen in his poket.

Also his hand was in his pocket for a long time.

I know how he found out how to get his written-on 3of hearts. Since he used a permanent marker, he could see through the back of the card with the markings on it. then he would know thats the card.

yea, he gets the candy out of his pocket when he is putting his marker up at 2:10. he brings it out holding it with his pinky and ring fingers. Good trick though.
