great trailer, i remember when i saw this preview at the theatre when i was going to see my bloody valentine and everyone in the theatre got all pumped up and started cheering and i got the chills lol i know thats weird but ive always had a thing for the friday the 13th movies, i would say this is one of platnum dunes better reinventions of a horror classic next to the texas chainsaw massacre but the rest of thier remakes sucked.

I like that Jason actually 'moves' in this one. He used to just lumber around and swing his various weapons, but here he's running and jumping and is much more terrifying.

They didn't have much to work with, Friday the 13th hasn't had a decent plot since the first and second movie. Texas Chainsaw Massacre at least had the twisted family to build upon and Michael Bay and Marcus did a hell of a job creating that movie. I hope they combine parts of all his exploits like Rob Zombie did with Halloween but again Zombie had more to work with. I dunno Jason movies did the same thing as the other big slashers but lost their motivation after Jason got his revenge.

Well, I'm looking forward to it. I was there in the theater to see all of the Friday 13th movies. The remake just might be cool. Also, check out the upcoming remake for My Bloody Valentine due in theaters January 2009 in 3D!

I have pretty big expectations for this film, but I also had the same for the Halloween remake and that didn't live up to them. But I have faith Michael Bay will pull out a great film.
