And as I said before, the whole "upside down" thing is just a gimmick, nothing to do with skill.
Fast is definatly impresive. I wish i could get those speeds, but More for beats and little kick rolls. Iv always said this and ill say it again. Good playing including soloing has alot to do with dynamics. The solo should be like a story, starting out cool, getting more awesome untill it explodes at the end. Not really that great of a drum solo. Very little variety and it's kinda sloppy. No memorable rhythmic ideas; he's just wailing away as fast as he can with drops and quads. Truly unextraordinary.

His rolls are very inconsistent, which is one of the reasons why 99% of professional drummers think he's way overrated. It might sound godly to laymen but really, it's very simple stuff yet Joey fails to execute it well enough.
Still cant get my bass's to sound like his..... I tried everything i have heard of to date. I can get the sound deep, just not as deep as his, or as awesome.... any suggestions??

I am so sorry u ten year old kids but this is speed 180bpm max and i can do that after 1 and 1/2 years of drumming and about 2 hours practice every day.
Joey isnt bad he is good in what he does but he does nothing special he does show off solos to impress non-musicans

Not offended at all just trying to clear up things to you. The reason I keep responding to you guys is not because I'm getting angry, it's because I think it's nice to chare opinions. You were right, I like black and death metal a lot, but I have a very wide music taste unlike many matalheads. I've played guitar, bass and drums almost my entire life, and started with synth not long time ago. I practise drums @ school atm cuz I sold my drumkit. Happy? I sold it for a reason yo.

The guy has sheer speed and basic rudiments. There's ABSOLUTELY nothing special about his drumming.
