Kazakhstan is 100 times bigger and apart from the desert she has a geography folding yr Switzerland in 10, 15 times on beauty wise. That desert is full of oil and gas which you don't have. Almaty waterworks carries the same water to city and from every tab you can fill your glass with this most sweety drinking water and other cities almost similar. Kazakhstan is the wheat depot for Russia. You get lost easy among the endless seas of grain.

The Red lake ""Kizilgol"" 70 kms from Almaty famous with darkred sand beaches around .. a giant lake and infact it's a pure drinking water reservoire . a fountain.. a miracle. Go and visit that land and then you may fart here if you can still. Plus I am not from Kazakhstan but from Turkey.

i think a get what hi want to tell bout "greatest". it`s memories, it`s feeling you get from looking at the city, places you remember. i left for 9 years ago my almaty and miss the place. now i`m 20. my chilhood was there, and i miss peoples warm hearts, my family. and that what it do the greatest, at least for some of us. it`s not buildings, it`s memorys , it`s peace of us.
