@vegaarturo Hi, thanks a lot for your nice comment. The chorus' chord progression is C G Bb A (first phrase) C G Bb C D (second phrase). What I play in this video is basically Root Fifth Eighth for each chord on the first phrase and then Root Fifth Major Third (sliding to one octave up). the bass is really fine and your playing is WOW! but i think the alembic sounds a bit to soft for white room. but for you backing track (a fusion white room?) is is perfect!
@magnolia972 You've made a point. Nowadays I am using a Musicman Stingray 5 to get a more aggressive sound, which sounds perfect when I play this song live with my band. I am VERY happy with the sound of the Alembic, but its pre-amp is quite tricky, and you better explore it before any serious attempt of equalizing it.
I like this new take on a classic. Keep it going man!
