  • what is the music you have playing with this video?

  • i used to go splunking in the kelly mine, the "tower" that people say is the kelly mine is really t he headframe to the traylor mine, alittle down hill from the kelly mine, which is entered by a drift. huge lumps of fools gold and other cool rock samples can be found at the tailings of the waldo and graphic mine, a small ways away, but well worth the hike.

  • Great vidoe. Very interesting

  • @ANTIDALLARD Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • absolutely haunting, peaceful Video and presentation. thank you. looks like a very cool place, if not a bit spooky huh?

  • @drumdude46 Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Kelly's definitely an awesome place, but it can get a little spooky at times. I'm pretty accustomed to visiting cemeteries, so not much rattles me, but the Kelly Cemetery does have a unique vibe to it, as does the region around the mine.

  • Very nice. I will have to check this out in the fall when the heat dies down a bit. :^)

  • @23metroboi23 Thank you. Please let me know if you experience anything strange!

  • @SeasonofShadows We should co-ordinate a visit/YouTube experience for the SW!

  • @23metroboi23 Are you in New Mexico, too?

  • Very cool footage. I know of this New Mexico ghost town. New Mex has over 400 ghost towns and many more camps and other smaller historical locations. Thank you for sharing your tour. It must have been wild to experience an apparition or some sort of spiritus being.

  • @samuraicinema Thanks for watching and commenting! Always great to hear from you. You're absolutely right - New Mexico is quite a unique place and filled with a ton of Old West style history. It was pretty awesome seeing the little boy on the bicycle that I wrote about on my blog... seems he was probably some sort of imprint or residual type energy.

  • I looked it up on google earth. Looks pretty interesting

  • @braneden Thanks for checking it out.

  • Wow, John, this was an incredible journey through the Kelly Mine!! You truly help to set the mood by creating a very calm and peaceful setting while admiring a town that used to be there but has since gone. My larger comment will be on your website, of course, but I must say that I truly adore and deeply appreciate how you put this all together. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with us my friend.

  • @LPF767 Thank you as well for watching and for your kind comments. It was great to finally be able to share Kelly and the experience of being there, at least from my camera's perspective. :0) I was very happy to "take" you guys with me.
