Yea well thanks for the little reminder on what year it is. And yea you are right about one thing, it is important to for kids to learn lessons whether good or bad. One thing that some of the kids will take is that even though it is 2011, there are still some that will act like it's 1911..... hard lesson?....

@jbmack43 Good lesson... whine and throw the race card at anything that happens that you don't like. Great lesson to teach the youth... that'll bring on a whole lot of progress and advancement. I was thinking more about grace, forgiveness and the realization that it's just a game but you can perpetuate racism if that's a better lesson to teach in your opinion... now I will smh.

@Bryzmz By the way... it was obviously a terrible call... no one can argue that. But all you have to do is watch any nfl or mlb game and you can see mistakes made by professionals. just because a white ref made a terrible call doesn't automatically mean it's racially motivated. i'm done now.

all that the means is that cockeysville ville won and whatever the other teams name is. i was at the game and i played 4 cockeysville and i was so scared!!!!the police came to controll the scene!!!!!i toght that aberdeens fans and coaches lost the game for there team because what if the coach DIDNT run up to the referee and scream in his face and maybe just maybe aberdeen would have score but to make sure that aberdeen didnt have a chance at all the coach got up in the refes grill

Wow! What a crazy call. I was there on the chains but couldn't see down the field and didn't realize the player was that far away from the line ~ not even close to the line. Normally Cockeysville and Aberdeen disagree, but I have to side with Aberdeen on this one. Sorry fellas. On another note I believe it was the same ref who favored Jarrettsville over Cockeysville this year. I don't think its discrimination rather a ref who gets revenge if you piss him off.

BAD CALL MY ASS! Maybe a bad example by parents ok I give you that...but that was cheating not a bad call. That wasn't even that refs call with him being on that side of the field. Its not a bad calls its BULLSHIT! My kid isn't out there but ball at 50 or not it looks like Aberdeen won that. Why do that to kids who played hard all year and make it there. Call the game fair. I hope that game was under protest with that bullshit.

Before you get into an argument with me, learn how to piece a sentence together.  For the last time it was not cheating, nothing more than a bad mistake. Last time I checked we are all human, mistakes happen from time to time. It is a football game, a pee-wee football game. Stop pretending its all about the kids and start realizing this is all a fragile attempt to boost your ego, because you did nothing with your life.

Please tell me what the mistake was. The ref that made that call...was it his call to make? What about the ref that was following the play? Clearly he didn't blow the whistle for a reason. Has nothing to do with being human and blah blah blah. Your either the ref who sucks! Or a parent from the other side. Nothing you can say can make up for that. Don't come at me with no putting a damn sentence together either. You know nothing about me or what I did with my life. The game was about the kids.

@truss2809 Just one more thing it is really easy for you to say ball on the 50 yard line 1st and 10 with 2 timeouts. The kids worked hard all year long and loss a game they had overcomed some obstacles. The parents and coaches made bad decisions but that doesn't excuse that malicious call from someone not in position to make the call. Lesson learned on both sides.

If the parents were to control their emotions and refrain from threatening the referees and running on to the field disrupting the game. The game could've continued with Aberdeen having the ball at the 50 yard line 1st and 10 with 2 timeouts. Once more I realize the call was bad, but what example are you setting for your kids, yelling and screaming like that. Refs make bad calls all the time, but good coaches should teach kids to overcome adversity, not stomp their feet and threaten refs.

Great comment. I have reffed other sports before and it is absolutely sickening how the parents lose sight of what the real purpose of youth athletics is. It's to learn sportsmanship, build confidence, health, fun and teamwork. Refs mess up calls... it's part of the game. Use this to teach your kids that life isn't fair and basically... sometimes shit happens.

One more thing, I am highly upset regarding the comments made about the character of these referees, I know both of them and they have been doing this for many years and at all times it has been about the kids, never are they out there to "screw the kids over", they make the calls as they are seen. Now the out of bounds call was horrible I will admit to that, but the behavior of the fans was worse.

I would like to make one comment and defend my father who was the white hat of the group of officials. While I cannot make any judgements regarding the officiating of the game due to the nature that I was not in attendance. I can however point out the flaws in the editing. My father the white hat did not call the kid out of bounds, it was the line official who made the call, at that point my father was only going by what was told to him by his partner on the line.

@jbmack43 FYI - it's now 2011... no one is "hiding" behind youtube... I'd have the same conversation with you if, by chance, we met. I work with disadvantaged youth, and have for several years, and from my experience with sports all my life, in situations like this I believe it is more important to teach a lesson rather than threaten some dumb ass ref's life and carry on like ignorant fools. What did all of those kids on the team learn from this? think about it. bigger picture than a game.

I have to add that the officiating and bias was the worst I've ever seen - even at the high school level. I think any ref who makes such a blatan call as this and who also uses racial slurs to players and coaches should be permentantly banned.

I also coach in this league and everytime I see this ref I have to change my game plan. This ref is an assO, he should not be allowed to ref in this league with his obvious display of bias. I hope and pray that HB does something about this ref. before someone else does!

Please notice the one ref that keeps walkn off the field cuz he knew that was a bad call I just wished the whole game was on here it will show blatantly this ref took the game frm these kids not only did he call back the TD that would have won the game for us but it will show that ref was the only one throwing his flag the WHOLE GAME....it was really sad especially seeing those babies cry!!! Something needs to b done!!
