The Karmichael Hunt of the 70's, an over paid, over hyped, crock load of shite. At least the character in this film came from a football state and could play footy. Still, one of the best Australian films and one that brings back fond memories of when football was a game and not a business, it's the reason I follow VFL and not AFL.

I don't care if the team in The Club is 'The Filth', that moment when the training scene becomes a match will always give me goosebumps. I love footy!

This is the BEST Aussie film ever.
And I'm a Kiwi, too.
Although, Welcome to Woop Woop, and Hercules Returns are also two other great Aussie films.
Oh, and by the way, Collingwood is, was, and forever will be, THE greatest ARL team.

I live in the States. This is one of my favorite sport films of all times. I wish I could get some of these Aussie films on DVD here.
