You can do that by creating a solid octahedron and removing one half of it one layer at a time.

Ive ordered one for x-mas and I got so hyped (I didnt received it yet) I ordered a 2nd :D but then the darker "color version titanum" or "black"

I hope I can create some nice symetrical shapes with it.
