can't say this does it for me at all... It's Joey's theme but it's way to dark and there's no real melodic theme that catches me. John Williams might have had a huge range of sounds to play from but his theme even on the piano has so much more passion and heart and inspiration!

Much better than Williams' works in the movie. But this is absolutely good not only relatively.

Meanwhile everyone is admiring Williams...

(I appreciate him eg. for Duel of Fates, but his War Horse music is a dull sob-stuff.)

Beautiful and haunting= just like the story! Loved the book. Music shows Joey's tenacity and determination. Great piano playing!
