@HeavyMetalBeliever Exactly. I don't mind it being in an E or E10+ game, but if a game is rated T, M, or AO, then there shouldn't be any holding hands except for the tutorial levels. That's like when you're in war and your drill instructor follows you into battle and tells you what to do, and exactly how you should do it and if you don't, then you'll have to do 100 push ups on the battle field.

@Ryanmiller70 I think the "tutorial level" thing is true for all games, especially when the manual or the strategy guide tells people what to/how to play/etc. If you're in the army, they give you training so you know what to do as opposed to follow you to the frontlines. I tried a demo of FFXIII and ended up getting very annoyed at how the game kept on playing itself. Oh if only it could be fully set to "auto-play"

no offense but just because the other FF games had world maps u couldn't go everywhere o sure their might be a couple of diversions but the FF games have always been pretty linear this one just shows it more considering the characters are considered enemies of the state and everyone thinks they are tainted evil monsters not willing to help them.

AVALANCHE were geo-terrorists and what the game failed to mention is all the shinra employees they killed who didnt know who or what their bosses were getting away with, also if MAKO refineries worked like oil refineries then all those explosions would cause alot of toxic devistation on the enviroment kinda like what shinra did to cloud and sephiroth except not in controlled laboratories and with the local civilians and wild life

Trabia was attacked by the Galbadian Missle base, the one Squall sent the other group to sabatoge, through a suprise attack of missles and nobody knew that Balamb could move until the last minute. Might have been some nice info for the sake of Trabia.

And the 13 one i understood, but i still stand by if people were aware of who Cloud

s group were/mercs from Balamb, they would be treated like monsters and enemies

They're making fun of how linear Final Fantasy XIII was. Basically, the game pretty much played itself. The funny part is it is mostly true as the combat system even had a kind of "auto play" feature that fought your battles for you.

I loved FFVI my personal favorite... FFVII was great, FFVIII I couldn't STAND the draw system and all the other flaws, FFIX I barely made it to the third disc, FFX was the first game of the series I played through but I lost interest. FFXII I didn't even get halfway, and I looked at the reviews of FFXIII very carefully before deciding it was a modded FFXII. This series has seriously crashed and burned for a long time, and it's sad.
