But I'd recommend checking in at Shoppers Drug Mart or CVS because theres ALOT of cosmetics on sale every week there. I saved atleast $10 everytime I go there INSTEAD of WalMart :)

I think that HIP is the "poor girl" version of MAC. It what I use most of the time because MAC is so expensive, but when I can upgrade I will. That cream liner also works WONDERS! I love it!

Really? I bought the HIP ones because I heard that they were really comparable to the MAC ones and the color didn't stay, it smudged, then it crumbled. But mine was in purple, so maybe the black one is the good one. But I just wanted to put it out there that I did have that bad experience in case someone else is thinking of buying it.

yeah , I have like a turquoise one and a aqua one , and they really show up on my brown skin . When I say automatic , I mean the ones that you dont have to sharpen - its kinda like a crayon but a lot smaller .

i have the wet n wild tuques liquid eyeliner it goes on a bit more green then i've expected i mix it with a purple pencil eyeliner (i know that sounds weird lol) but it turns out a pretty almost metalic blue

You MUST MUST MUST MUST get Wet n Wild products they are SOOO pigmented and high quality! I have the Wet n Wild Sandbox palette thing let me say i think its better than MAC to be honest same with the liquid eye liners and eye liners. OH and for HIP the LEFT side of the duo's are MORE PIGMENTED than the right try it if you hhave the HIP.

From my opinion I love the HIP eyeshadows, they are highly pigmented, easy to blend and they come in a wide range of colors from the neutrals to bright colors which some of the I have never seen in other cosmetic brands. I own 5 or 6 of the HIP duos and they are well worth the 8-9 (regular and canadian) dollars. They also seem to go on sale a lot to so it won't be hard to get them at a good price. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I find the MAC eyeshadows too pigmented and I heard they're good, but since I had a bad experience with the HIP cream/gel liner and ppl said good things about that, I wasn't convinced. But def, the HIP eyeshadows would be the ones to go to first if I'm checking out drugstore eyeshadows :)

so true. I can actually find some HE eyeliners pencils for about $8 at the discount, which is about the same for a "good" but smudgy eyeliner from the drugstore. It's alwaysgood to compare. Sometimes for the extra $2-3 you pay you get a much better quality and are happier with the liner :)

Honestly, I think that drugstore makeup in the best makeup I have ever used. I haven't used MAC, well, strike that; I have one MAC pigment, but as far as I'm concerned, I enjoy using drugstore makeup. Makeup is makeup, it all matters on how you use it. I love your makeup in this tutorial by the way.

Well I disagree except for the eyeshadow.. most highend brands have top quality eyeshow but everything else...to me is average. I have tried mac studio fix pressed powder and tried a drugstore brand presses powder an was more happy with the drugstore brand. Ad most mac sales reps dont know how to match skintones well.

A lot of ppl dont like NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils, esp. black bean. But the trick is to just put a small-medium amount of it on ur lid and blend it out. if you put too much then it will be too oily and will crease your e/s. I do this and they work just fine :)

MAC is wonderful but my budget doesn't always allow me get MAC... so I have to find drugstore comparables... and I actaully got some of the loreal HIP pigments the other day (i like) and got the same wetNwild eyeliner you show (i like)... anyhow, I'm going to go look for the Loreal HIP stick in pink that you mentioned makes a good base... thanks, your video was very helpful.

Yup, we won't survive for much longer... I mean at least in London the situation is terrible. Just to drive in central London, you have to pay 20 bucks a day to the Mayor. You know that photo could be photoshop, but I personally think it is the MAC gloss (which can be used in your eyes and looks like lipgloss) I think those L'Oreal bases would work really well under the gloss and then you can use the green teal Loreal liner to line your eyes. I bet it would look beautiful...
