I pulled some context from the quote in question, but it doesn't change what he said. The context is he's angry at SF over how they treated the issue of military recruiters in schools. I claimed that neither Franken nor Gross have done anything wrong. You are technically correct that much of that interview didn't promote his book, but objective observation of most promo interviews will show you that the subject generally just comes up once. If they were limited to his book, the discussion would have been boring and tired after 15 minutes.
