You guys didn't even go to a bowl last year and that same year, Clemson beat you in Columbia, and they didn't play Kentucky last year (played them in 06), they lost to Auburn in OT. Clemson has been involved in a bowl every year since the 94-95 season (with the exception of the 2004 brawl where both schools banned their teams from going to bwol games.
Last bowl Clemson won was a 19-10 win over Colorado in the 05 Champ Sports bowl.
I love how people say Clemson is far better than USC. The last time I checked they haven't won an ACC title in years even though you're predicted to just about every year. Tomm Bowden was hired to win and look what happened to him. They had Harper, Spiller, Ford, Kelly, and a few others and they still didn't win an ACC title. Many of USC's recruiting class 2 years ago (#6 or something like that) will be starting this year, so Spurrier's recruits are just now starting to be incorporated into his system. It takes time, new coaches, schemes, etc. to become sucessful. Remember, when Spurrier went to UF in 90 he inherited a loaded team (he said so himself) and it was'nt until 5 years later they became dominate (once all "his" players were there).
USC is very talented on defense but again new coach, new scheme...new era!!

You guys didn't even go to a bowl last year and that same year, Clemson beat you in Columbia, and they didn't play Kentucky last year (played them in 06), they lost to Auburn in OT. Clemson has been involved in a bowl every year since the 94-95 season (with the exception of the 2004 brawl where both schools banned their teams from going to bwol games.
Last bowl Clemson won was a 19-10 win over Colorado in the 05 Champ Sports bowl.

I love how people say Clemson is far better than USC. The last time I checked they haven't won an ACC title in years even though you're predicted to just about every year. Tomm Bowden was hired to win and look what happened to him. They had Harper, Spiller, Ford, Kelly, and a few others and they still didn't win an ACC title. I suggest before you start ragging on USC you take a look at your school. You don't own them everything. Last time I checked USC baseball was leagues ahead of Clemson.

Many of USC's recruiting class 2 years ago (#6 or something like that) will be starting this year, so Spurrier's recruits are just now starting to be incorporated into his system. It takes time, new coaches, schemes, etc. to become sucessful. Remember, when Spurrier went to UF in 90 he inherited a loaded team (he said so himself) and it was'nt until 5 years later they became dominate (once all "his" players were there).
USC is very talented on defense but again new coach, new scheme...new era!!

The reason I posted that comment is to make sure everyone knows that no matter who they beat; before it is all said and done they will always blow it in the end. In case you were wondering anybody can beat anybody on any given day you guys should know this all too well afer losing to The Citadel in the early 90's, and the 84 Navy game. Great Job Guys, it is always good to look back and remember everything. Those nights where I spent yelling at the TV because of the Auburn game or the times when we where on top of the world.
