i just realised but i believe zun is coming out of danmaku patterns

the game becoming harder means that he has to go with abstract danmaku

in the newest games like mof, sa, ufo and fairy wars has alot of copied moves changed a little bit

touhou is going to end soon :(

in about 2-3 years from now X(

unless zun stops making danmaku games

zun needs some comrades and staff if he wants touhou to live longer

Just because he makes a reference to a past Touhou character, you go all pessimistic.

There were plenty of VERY fresh danmaku patterns.

Take, THE ENTIRE FIGHT WITH UTSUHO for example. Or, take Shou's fight.

Kanako's was very original.

As was Sanae's.

@takulu64 FURTHERMORE, Zun does fine on his own. He really doesn't need help. Touhou wouldn't be Touhou if anyone else dabbled in it.

And also, Zun makes games that he finds fun, and his favorite happen to be shmups, so I doubt he'll stop making shooters.

I hate the new Youtube. it's slow and clunky, also the bar doesn't even show the real progress of the video. When I go to some part that's "loaded" it shows the loading symbol. I just want to see the ending to this game (don't wanna have to replay it after reaching that last part of the last boss and getting killed)

i see a lot of people talking about how shinki has attacks similar to other characters... isn't it the other way around though? those characters have attacks similar to shinki ... Hijiri's for example is Clearly a sign that ZUN in no way shape or form has forgotten about shinki ...

5:20 reminds me of mokou's honest man's death

6:24 reminds me of ran's descent of izunga-gonen or something

This battles a lot of fun on lunatic. :)

And this game's in no way easy. Yumeko is one of the toughest bosses to bring down in the series, and stage 4 is really nasty on lunatic.

It appears he's only playing this on Normal mode. I don't know much about the PC-98 games of the Touhou series, but if they are anything like the Windows games, there should be two higher difficulty settings: Hard and Lunatic.

Your right. Theres also Lunatic and Hart difficulty settings. And even normal isn't soooo easy.

Thanks for the PC98 uploads. You've allowed us to enjoy the gameplay and some of the good music of PC98. Shinki's theme is defintely one of the better ones.
