  • I love this song as much today as when it came out in 1965. It was early school days but always a fan of Del Shannon and the string of hits he had here in Australia. I just wish he kept searching. Of course, Runaway was the one that started it all and a real favorite of mine also. I really liked the comments and tributes made to the great legend. Thank you

  • @skateboardscience oh. oschtrayya. u mean that "country" were they still shoot at abos? did u guys have had any other music since then? since the "goo oll daiiys"?

  • Just amazing. This song stands up so well after all these years.

  • This is by far one of my all time favourites by The Late Del Shannon...it was sad that in 1990 that He took his own life at age 50 by a self inflicted Gunshot!!!

  • 2 people couldnt find it

  • The dancers look more like cheerleaders. Good song.

  • The master of music as the beat to perfection, a true rock genius

  • del tha funky homosapien

  • I have always loved this song. Del was hugely popular in the UK, probably more than in America, and even after the hits dried up he was a big attraction over here. I remember hearing him being interviewed on the radio in the early 80s and he seemed a genuinely nice and modest guy. Great talent. This song was the last of his 8 UK top 10 hits, reaching no.3 in 1965. His biggest hit was of course Runaway, which was no.1 in both the US and UK in 1961. Thanks for posting this.

  • Del Shannon is my number one Favorite 60's solo artist! Wow what a singer and guitarist!

  • You folks out there can't believe how this guy and his sound blew us "kids" away in the early 60's. I was in 10th grade when "Runaway" came out. Thanks for the memories.

  • 1 person did not keep searching

  • >...< Wee-yoo!

  • The man could flat out rock. He lives on through the legacy of his music that he gave us!

  • I didn't relize how many hits Del had. Great talent to bad.

  • Classic song...class talent...RIP Del

  • Fantastic !!! Love it A BIG Thanx .... Lyndloo..

  • the "follow the sun" part and the hammond solo is one piece of psychedelic music

  • Runaway was burning it's way through the top forty at the time of my birth. I have always felt a cosmic connection to this ultra cool performer. Keep Searchin' is one of his many really killer tunes. Rock On Del!

  • What a voice, absolutely incredible.I get chills up my spine when he hits those notes at the end of the song.

  • What a voice,absolutely incredible.

  • Gosh, if I have any regrets in my life, it won't be because of the FABULOUS music of my generation! Age 14 when Elvis came into being! You know the rest!

  • Another great song that led the way to Power Pop. Amazing hook line...

  • AH, just another great talent passes in to history. but will always be rememered, unlike the one hit wonders today who "think" they have talent.

  • In my musical journey over many decades, I have found it doesn't get much better than Del Shannon's, Follow the Sun. Peace from Philly!

  • All-time classic. So great.

  • 43 - 48 Daftness on Del's left hand side !

  • you could make a novel out of this song.....wonderful

  • 1 Person here has no taste in good music!

  • RIP handsome, talented man.

    Shame you took yourself away.

  • One of the greats from the 60's, and one of the most underrated.

  • unbelievable talent.

  • He killed that last note. Del Shannon was a certified G.

  • This song reminds me of going to Seaside in 64!

  • Makeetaaaaaaa.....

  • Ahh, that end note is a pure chiller, you gotta love it!!!!!

  • little better audio

  • I loved Del from the very first time my dad played his music. Me & my Sister would always grab that album & play it every chance we had. I want to see more Del Shannon on YouTube!

  • I agree the Del Shannon never got enough credit, but just as bad, Max Crook who was the othjer half of Del Shannon music never got hardly any credit. His keyboard really made Del shannons music what it was. loved them together.

  • Del Shannon never got enough credit for being a great rock n roll singer and songwriter.

  • An underestimated talent.

  • I was sitting underneath this very Fender Stratocastor while eating a meal at the Hard Rock cafe!

  • The scans of the go-go girls dancing in the background easily makes this footage the best of Del's "Keep Searching videos. It was the best of times. 110% rated.

  • i agree man - but the synching! why cant they get it right? it drives me crazy!

  • hey, im twenty years old and i live in London the Uk, I ADORE all del shannons music, my dad pretty much played it all the time when i was growing up...

  • While "American Graffetti" pumped his biggest charting hit, "Runaway", I've always felt "Keep Searching" had more power and appeal with the instantly recognizable opening bars, building vocal crescendo, and roaring middle keyboard instrumental. Del was truely the sound of the 60's. I feel priviledged to have lived during his greatest era. RIP, Del. You were loved by many.

  • LOVE this song!!!It has alot of balls and is a real rocker!!!!His falsetto is unearthly.THANKS!!

  • @doglips1958 How shannon is singing on the high notes isn't falsetto. ;)

  • His best song....A Huge talent. Rest in peace.

  • My sweet valentine what a Love story xxx

  • Del Shannon, what a great talent. So sad to hear of his death. Del WAS the sound of the early sixties. His songs, like this one, I remember were blaring from stereos everywhere. Rest in Peace Del, and thank you for the great songs.

  • awsome mind blowing track.

  • I was playing this track when my son (19) came in and he amazed me by singing along with it, normally his taste in music is, well, terrible. I asked him how he new the track. He turned to me an said that this track is awesome and that he had played it on his computer many times.

  • Spectacular !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a nice face at 0:36. He is frying to dance, 0:45. Del is awesome.

  • he was the best, such a waste and a shame he died, so much going for him rip del

  • He took his own life because he suffered from clinical depression. He wasn't morally challenged, nor was he a failure. He was a very ill man, so try to show some compassion.

  • Memories of our days in Buenos Aires at ACS

  • great work delshannonnetwork please keep posting more, have you got kelly , can you get the audio on to limewire.DEL the main man

  • I remember playing this on a jukebox in Pleiku.

    on 4 dudes from Liverpool.
