I am in biostatics (biology and mathematics) in 2001 a graduate student colleague of mine was working with this technology SPM’s, the one that "kicks" photons (PSTM), to make it more accurate and faster. I asked him: Can you use that for imprinting circuits if it is close enough using a specific current? He told me NO you don’t understand, that cannot be done, this is to ONLY "see" the surface. I guess with some imagination he could have been the first one to publish. Lesson: Listen!
Actually, from the video it appears to be made of some thing considerably SMALLER than the atoms it is probing....maybe it's really made up of subatomic particles, eh?
