  • Your performance is excellent!

  • Thanks so much, you've inspired me. Think I'm going to work on this for my college's concerto competition. Keep it up!

  • i think that you should get rid of that tick....I have my ticks too...it's distracting and downplays your playing...

  • One thing I found interesting was the last two notes... some people do it both ways, but I remember that shortly before he died Ingolf Dahl changed the rhythm slightly and put the last note on the "and" of the beat. Wonderful playing though! You should be proud of yourself!

  • jesus christ! i thought i could play this when my teacher told me about it, but no way, not yet at least..

  • Holy hell, dude!

I'd like to see that again and, the accompaniment was kick ass! Very strong, forceful and passionate all around especially the soloist.

  • I played on an AL3 at the time. Size 3-1/2 vandoren.

  • @Choadeymcgriff what do you play on now?

  • yanagasawa mouth piece and a 3 vandoren (i probably cant spell)

  • You're a wonderful player! Certainly one of Hemke's best.

  • great performance! is your neckstrap broken tho cus u adjusted it lots!

  • its just a tick. my tick of after playing is that i wipe my right then left hand on my pants. i do that for both jazz on bari and concert on bassoon

  • HOLY COW you rock, I'm playing the high part in mvt. 2 for my eastman audition, but that's by far the best I've heard this piece piece played

  • Awesome. Great job.

  • Nice job! Very nice - my professor at Mansfield University was a student of Hemke's. He completed his masters and doctorate at Northwestern. I'm glad to be under the instruction of such a well rounded saxophone teacher. Keep up the great work!

  • Amazing playing...I love the projection....beautiful and soaring...

    thanks man!

  • Hi Sean,

I have Guitar Hero II. Maybe we can play together. Do you have a red guitar?

    Love, Michael

  • Sean, You've come a long way from playing Tron Deadly Discs. Very proud of you. You sound great. Paul, Jean and Michael

  • Sean! Stop being so talented!

    Wow... great, great stuff.

    ~your cousin Emily

  • Purely exceptional, Sean. Probably my favorite concerto and man did you put the work into it and own it. Nice mother-fing job.
