If Sophia were Euris as some have suggested, there would be no reason (or far less reason) For Alex to continue seeking vengeance against Maestro Delphine. In one scene Sophia asks Alex if he truly intends to kill Delphine, he replies that it's the only thing that keeps him alive. In the same conversation Sophia says that "Euris is gone." which can only mean dead given all the other evidence shown in the series.
At the end of the show though, Alex said "Euris..." and Wina Lightning heard him. Later, Sophia asked what he said, and Wina replied "I heard him say your name." Which confused me...
Euris and Sophia are two different women, they look alike, so I can see the confusion, but they make it clear enough that Euris died in the Grand Stream along with Claus & Lavie's fathers. Only Alex made it back alive. As to who's related to who, Euris is the Prime Minister's daughter (who defected from the Guild & provided the ship that the Silvana's claudia unit is from), Princess Sophia is the daughter of the King of Anatoray.
I think Euris is the prime minister's daughter. He did think 'Euris' when he saw Sophia. Of course, they do look alike and he raised Sophia like a daughter.

Euris = Daughter of Marius, the Prime Minister of Anatoray (formerly a member of the Guild).
They're not the same.
