Due to the loss of their son they had and do have a legitimate concern in regards to moshing and the violence associated with it. You all can deny that the act of moshing is violent but the reality is that it is violent in nature. Very few people have been seriously hurt and/or killed but these parents had a reasonable concern. The topic was legit for talk.

That said Marilyn Manson is his own artist and if you actually paid attention to him as opposed to being biased against him you would see him for the original artist he is like him or not.

Sure music or movies can incite deeper feelings but the reality is that if you are depressed and suicidal you will make a suicidal choice regardless. Such is life. How disappointing is to see that most of the people in the show and Phil Donahue himself are more preocupied with the band's looks than what MM is truly saying.
