I feel like the last few measures of the instrumental after she's stopped singing are completely wrong! I want to sing this song in theatre. But I really think that music at the very end will kill it for me.

That would be because it segues straight into the next song, which is up tempo...they build upthe momentum into that. The solo version of it ends with just the piano playing the same chords from the opening, actually bringing the song to a close...it works beautifully.

The way the musical starts for him is they are first meeting... and for her its when they had just broken up. The wave was him meeting her for the first time. This is the opening number. They meet in the middle I believe and sing their vows together but other than that the musical takes place in two different times for both of them.

What I love about this is how realistic her performance is. She doesn't overact the sadness and disappointment the character's facing, she lives it.

God she is so amazing! Her voice is so natural and easy sounding. Her singing voice sounds just like her speaking voice and thats how people are suppost to sing. I was lucky enough to see here in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and she was unbeleivable and SO consistant. She sounds the same live as she does on recordings and thats quite rare these days it seems. And is it just me or has she lost weight since then?
