Marchuk is wonderful, but I will miss the dynamism & great stage presence of Zapasnikova, who went to the Mikhailovsky. Unfortunately we don't see many YT postings from there.

oh my goodness I didn't think it was possible to get any cuter than Obrastzova and her smile, but it did! Marchuk's energy and joy is infectious. But may I ask why her variation twice?

@tutus4life Her description answers your question. It is two different performances. Nobody has ever had the smile and personality of Oksana Marchuk and here she was a graduating student, so just imagine how great she will be in her professional career, but she has to get the roles to dance to show her greatness. Floundering in the corps will not help her.

@russianballetvideo I couldn't agree with you more and I do apologize looovecats for my stupid question, I didn't quite read the entire description. Do you know how tall she is? The description says that she would be a great Amour or Florine so I take it that she is small, which unfortunately doesn't help in the Mariinsky these days :(

@tutus4life She looks short, but she actually is taller than she appears. My guess is around 5'4", but she appears to be much shorter.
