3:20 is where the solo gets fucking raw! It actually sounds composed as opposed to just abstract improvisation, there's power to it than anything else Andy has recorded. I feel like there was a "don't give a fuck" attitude with this new album, like all of the songs, excluding the brilliant White feather and VOTS, were just done to get some money. This band has kinda lost its rock and roll edge. Love Train, Woman, White Unicorn, the whole fucking first album was modern, simple, and progressive but seen through a classic lens as opposed to just coppying the old sounds. With Cosmic Egg (gay ass name) a lot of the songs are sooo geeky, like 10000: the end is really cool but the song as a whole is lame, its definately not first album material

I agree with you about the sound of the album, but "Cosmic Egg" is a pretty cool fucking album title, man. I mean, it's like the universe will hatch from the songs on the album. Unfortunately, they don't. That title would've been far more suitable for the debut album.
