I thought that it might be an idea to note that half of the legends that are mentioned here don't actually mention "hollow Earth". For example, the guy mentions Avalon, but the King Arther legend state that Avalon is an island, and that it is above ground. While the Hopi legend is merely about giant caverns under ground, not about a world within a world. While Valhalla isn't even on Earth, it's on Asgard. One of the 9 realms of Norse legend.

Facts change with time, and the laws of physics are updated quite regularly. The LHC in Europe is expected to completely re write many established "Facts" over the next few years. It will give us replicateable data on things that previously only existed simulations. That's science.

I'm still waiting to see science actually disprove Hollow Earth. Current data show that Halley's concentric ring idea is almost certainly impossible. But the subterranean cavern legends of the Hopi are geologically and historically plausible.
Science dismisses them as a "fantasy" as you call it, but they haven't even investigated it to see if it is just a myth, or if it has basis in fact. This is what really annoys me. They dismiss it without even sending in geologists to see.

Satellites fly over the poles quite often. Oil companies use them to to search for new fuel sources, environmentalists use them to "prove" global warming, and scientists use them for all kinds of things. Anybody can put one up these days, if they have enough money.

The idea of "concentric rings" doesn't fit with modern evidence. However, the idea of there being massive subterranean caverns where life could exist is actually plausible. For example, there are many magma chambers under the surface. Some of them could hypothetically be large enough to support a human\animal population. Think "massive cave" rather than an actual hollow Earth.
These could actually be the source of "Hollow Earth" beliefs.
There are multiple accounts from around the world. From the Near East to Native American accounts, of people from the surface moving underground to escape enemies or naturals events.

@machastro Prove the Earth is not hollow.... there seems to be more evidence to prove it is than it isn't. Cartographers drew maps from eyewitness accounts of the northpole and the rest of the world. Those maps were pretty accurate for the rest of the world and they showed that the Earth had a large canyon at the north pole which the sea entered into and you could see the inner earth looking down into the canyon... these aren't my words they arethe words of the people who were there. I thought that it might be an idea to note that half of the legends that are mentioned here don't actually mention "hollow Earth". For example, the guy mentions Avalon, but the King Arther legend state that Avalon is an island, and that it is above ground. While the Hopi legend is merely about giant caverns under ground, not about a world within a world. While Valhalla isn't even on Earth, it's on Asgard. One of the 9 realms of Norse legend.

As of yet, science hasn't actually proved that the Earth is solid. It's merely hypothesized based on current data.
Scientists haven't actually proved what the deep core of the Earth is like. They are still arguing amongst themselves because they have yet to "prove" to their own standards what it is like.

Just look at dinosaurs. Countless mistakes were make about how their bones fitted together, and how they lived. Some of which took over 100 years to correct. People who tried were ridiculed by the establishment, but are now know to be right.

Actually, there have been multiple experiments aimed at replicating certain aspects of the Big Bang. The LHC in Europe is attempting to recreate conditions just after it, and other collides have done similar experiments. There have also been multiple attempts to use microwave radiation detectors to create computer simulations of the universe that can be "run backwards" to replicate the conditions at the time of the big bang.

In science, "Facts" are merely the currently accepted interpretation of available data. "Facts" regularly change as our understanding of the data improves, or new data is found.
Facts change with time, and the laws of physics are updated quite regularly. The LHC in Europe is expected to completely re write many established "Facts" over the next few years. It will give us replicateable data on things that previously only existed simulations. That's science.

Scientists who disprove other scientists get treated very badly. You get labeled as a trouble maker who attacks other people's work. Try getting funding form a mainstream source with that kind of label.

Which in turn calls the hole establishment into question. For this reason scientists can close ranks, even if they doubt the earlier works, too.

I'm still waiting to see science actually disprove Hollow Earth. Current data show that Halley's concentric ring idea is almost certainly impossible. But the subterranean cavern legends of the Hopi are geologically and historically plausible.
Science dismisses them as a "fantasy" as you call it, but they haven't even investigated it to see if it is just a myth, or if it has basis in fact. This is what really annoys me. They dismiss it without even sending in geologists to see.

Satellites fly over the poles quite often. Oil companies use them to to search for new fuel sources, environmentalists use them to "prove" global warming, and scientists use them for all kinds of things. Anybody can put one up these days, if they have enough money.

The guy wasn't actually attempting to prove anything. He was simply explaining the belief in Hollow Earth, and giving some examples\variations on it. It's interesting to know the history and content of such beliefs, even if you don't personally believe in them.
FYI, quite a few "religious myths" have been proved as being accurate by archaeologists. Or at least to be broadly representative of events from a particular perspective.

ok im icelandic and i can tell you that what he says about the icelanders isnt true, it is kind of true that in Snorra edda, Snorri suggests that Ásgarð is in the center of the earth, but he also suggest that its neighbor is Troy, the idea comes from the fact that Snorri was a christian and wanted Ásgarð to be a physical place, our realm is miðgarðr, which can be translated as middle earth so he placed Ásgarð in middle earth, which just means that it is in our realm, we live in miðgarðr

The idea of "concentric rings" doesn't fit with modern evidence. However, the idea of there being massive subterranean caverns where life could exist is actually plausible. For example, there are many magma chambers under the surface. Some of them could hypothetically be large enough to support a human\animal population. Think "massive cave" rather than an actual hollow Earth.
These could actually be the source of "Hollow Earth" beliefs.

This is definitely interesting. I don't know how to call it; I tend to be a wait and see kind of guy. This bearded fellow though, I have to say, presents himself well. Plenty off body language, clear and concise speech and enthusiasm.

what is the delay? why don't they just rent a plane and fly through the opening, if there is one? what's taking so long? don't airlines fly over the poles everyday? how could the government cover up such huge holes at the poles? it doesn't make sense and none of the hollow earthers are answering these simple questions. can't anyone with a plane just fly over the poles to check this theory?

They are guided away from it, yet ive heard some say whove known pilots who fly near it..
There is a huge hole there, when you see it, you want nothing to do with it..

@kaos3ce lol because then people would see the connection between "aliens" and the "fallen spoke of in Gen ch 6 who got send to the innered of the earth ? the new age 60's movement and all that stuff along with the new age science of conscience could be part of the disinformation to stray us away from the truth of the lord but I do suggest everyone to Research all Evidence and not just one theory or culture look into all of it and decide for yourselfs not letting other people tell u disinfo?

There are vulcanos on the bottom of the see that explode sometimes. But, why don't the seas drain into it? On the side it proves that something in the earth makes vulcanos heat up the places and explode.

You shouldnt refer to people in the hollow earth (assuming there is 1) as aliens. We consider those NOT from our planet as aliens if they reside in Hollow Earth then they arent aliens. Personally, I am going to call them Pathetic, scared, worthless pieces of trash, who are to much of a coward to engage in some kind of 'diplomatic venue'. If I was in there position I would have done that decades ago. So until they show themselves they are COWARDS or they do not exist because hollow earth is myth

ok just for all u people suddenly actually believing that the earth is hollow let me wake you u. this is just a myth and had been scientificly proved false since the earth's core is a big ball of magma/lava kinda like a small sun or start thats why we have vulcano's i wouldve expected anyone above age 10 to know this but i see reactions and comments that kinda make me facepalm.
