    =D

  • @jcatcrosslives I did too- excellent! :-)

  • i love this song Jesus is the savior

  • I just discovered this song tonight and love it. I'm glad God you the words to write it.

  • do you guys got your own studio and stuff? and a producer? The recording sounds really professional.

  • Thank you very much! We recorded and produced this CD in a 200 year old shack that's no bigger than your shed believe it or not. We used very high quality instruments and studio programs to make the difference. It's funny how artists don't record like this any more. I believe a lot of them need vocal pitch correction now days... (why don't they just practice)? LOL Thanks again Maxarcc

    =D

  • @Maytons

    xx nita

  • What a song, did your album can be buy on the net ?

  • just thought i'd share, that i really love this song.

I will not get involved in your comments regarding churches, the music lyrics stand on their own, i also listen to praise 106.5 WILD!

  • Thank you Anna! I put a lot of prayer into this song and it sums our purpose in Him.

    Many blessings!

    =Dave

  • @Maytons

hey dave, nita braden from victoria b,.c. canada, still lovin this song, it really spoke to my heart you know?

it's the sencerity of it, as the WORD says, ''out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak!"

    always your in our prayers

    god bless xx nita

  • Hi Nita, great to hear from you again (and great to hear our music is still ministering to you)! Have you heard any of our newest yet?

    =D

  • my point is brother, weather we attend a church, or @ home, we need to give 2 god, you sound kinds negative, oh, did you guys get the number for praise 106.5, dave was asking me for it, i gave the tollfree which happened 2b a fax, but the website has the 360 #, i had it, tried to comment under my other e-name, "godskidoyea01"but couldnt get thro! let me know, were moving, its a bit of a mess, but i can hunt it

  • 1962islander

    i listen to that station!

    where you @?

    im mill bay b.c.

  • dorkdog, it is actually juanita braden here, i don't want 2 mislead u cause it seems someone did.I will NOT prosume 2 b accountable or reply about what happened @ a church dude, cause honestly i can't! i have;nt had that problem, & prior 2 r home studies, we attended a church downtown & tithed privately

  • 4 praise 106.5, search youtube, look 4 their web pg, they have a local # in wa, & the site has everything u would need to contact

    =juanita

  • So if God made us without money and without food as you said. Then we got through that time without money, therefore we do not need money. Using that logic, we should also not need food?

  • So the church doesn't believe in what the church beleives in? That's what you're saying?

  • Then how come every churc asks for donations?

  • Churches ask for donations because they are a business. Plain and simple. The person we call a 'bishop' is actually a district manager. The church is also non-profit which means tax deductions for rich, old widows.

That's why I don't go to church. Instead, I write this music (with my buddy Dave).

To me, religion is intensely personal. The church provides a social function ad a place for like-minded people to congregate. That's why they call it a 'congregation'

    Not my thing at all.

    LJ

  • wrong!!! churches ask 4 a donation, so anyone wishing 2 obey god, by tithing, may do so! IT'S OBEDIENCE 2 GOD! he also says 'NOT 2 FORSAKE THE GATHERING OF MY PEOPLE!"

if yer gonna give advice, make sure it's correct!

we have bible study in our home in which i hold as pastor, we send our money 2 other countrys 2 feed the poor, 2 salvation army, feeding the hungry etc! it's not a business!

  • 1962islander - I'll not mince words here. First, I reread my post and I do not see anywhere that I am giving anyone advice and I would not do so. Second, you are comparing your home study to a large building with a mortgage, employees, maintenance... for me that's why my church is in my music. As for tithing, I would much rather give 15% to God's work than what, 50% to Grredy Men. I'm sorry I canot afford 65% but the money we will make from CD sales will be donated to charity.

    LJ

  • I'm sorry,1962islander, but I need to continue a bit...

Why did the pastor at the last church I went to tell us one morning to check our tithe envelopes - make sure the correct name is on them so the 'right person would get credit'?

Do they call God with a list of who paid and who did not? So even if I put $100 in the Love Offering each week I will go to hell because there's no one to attribute the donation to?

My OPINION - organized religion is more corporate than spiritual - WAY more.

  • Juanita I think we agree more than disagree... my comments are not addressed to small groups of people getting together informally or formally, but I believe that when these groups start getting big enough to incur serious financial obligations their focus shifts from that of praise and study to that of financial survival. At that point, what do you have....

  • Dorkdog I sort of agree. My point to you will be it is what the person wants to do. Some people need guiding which is something I belive and hope most churches do. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to talk and pray to God like they should and church is a means to learn those practices. Also not all churches take from the offering plate, but I do belive that the tendency to is increasing. If the people wish to donate let them it a good deed they commit who cares about money anyway.

  • hey dave! its juanita braden & family, how r u guys doin? your in r prayers, i did a survey 4 my radio stn praise 106.5, i WANT your mus bro! GOS'S RICH BLESSINGS!!!

  • Thanks for sharing us! Blessings to you, Paul & the boys. We believe in the messages & love when others can hear them.

  • i just cant get enough v this song, shared it with ma-boy, & he loves it 2! right 2 the point, sayin it like it is, just love that, blessings brother dave

  • woke up, beginnin my day kinda late, just had 2 hear this sweet song again! thanks 4 the reply dave! do u guys ever get out 2 victoria b.c.?

  • I wish we got out to anywhere. When I say we're undiscovered, I mean completely unknown. We have no label, no manager, not even a Church to play for. We are just a few guys making music in a 200 year old summer house (about the size of a large shed) in a sleepy little town near Gettysburg, PA. I pray about what I write about and how I make videos, and I love to do it... but I'm a poor excuse for a manager, promoter. We own the copyrights to our songs, but don't have much else going for us.

  • damn brutha, nice to see more jews supportin the movement

  • big accolade from germany to this great song its like the best christian song i've ever heard. go on with yout great music!

PS sry for my bad english

  • Danke Bruder! I really appreciate that, especially from the other side of the planet. I'm just a guy who makes music in my basement (I have to keep my day job until we're discovered).

    Many blessings friend.

    =Dave (Three Nails)

  • WHAT IF IM ATHEIST?!?

    LOL

  • i really like you music... alot of Christian bands cant pull it off..talking about God and everything he did...but you guys did great at it... keep it up.... you sound great and your really telling about God =)

  • Thanks kazee, we appreciate that. All our music comes through prayer.

    =Dave

  • God bless you all and our Holy Lady Maria could take all of you below her protection

  • i dont believe in jesus and any absoluts fying up in the sky but this song really kick ass... Film was also very good!..

    (sorry for grammatic errors..)

  • I'm a christian, and I don't really like a lot of christian music because it doesn't really go deep into the word of God. But your music is different. It really goes in deep and talks about what God has done for us. I love it. And may God bless you all.

  • Thank you so much for your kind words my friend. Christian music is about function, not form. That means it doesn't have to be light and fluffy all the time. People should sing about what they pray about. For me, I see a world in despair, yet there is hope for every one of us... so that's what I write about. All of this music was created by myself and a friend in a little 200 year old summer house, and people seem to like it... yet not a single church has asked us to play.

    Many blessings

  • i would love for you to play for my church but idk :[[ nice tunes though :]] God bless you

  • Thank you brother. Where do you live?

    =Dave

  • i see your justying to what happened to jesus and telling what he had done (forgiven the people that watched and put him on the cross when he reserected) with the music and corus of your every day rocker its not like AC/DC where they justify in some songs about the devil and such your telling a story a story about christianity but not telling people to grab a gun and this is why you might make it big if thats what your aming for in your carrer

  • Thanks brother. I'm not looking for a career, just a way to share what He has put in my heart. Give me a personal message sometime... In my other comment reply to you, I told you I love you as one of Gods creations, even though we have never met. (I'm one of those rare, "weird" Christians who attempt to practice His word rather than just read it).

Many blessings to you my friend!

    =Dave

  • thank you for the blessing. And you have found a great way to say what he has put in your heart p.s. wounderful music

  • PEACE for ever *God bless you all*

  • Thanks Nikeboy, and may God bless you as well!

    =Dave

  • nice video nice mesagge God bless you all

  • nice message and vid you keep doin wat u doin much love an peace -panda

  • nice band and message

  • Lol thanks. Wish you a lot of success ;)

  • I'm not a Christian, but I like the music, and this is the most important thing I think :)

  • Thank you tchernabyl... YOU are my target audience!! A person who wouldn't normally listen to Christian music. Certainly we want Christians to like our music, but we're most excited about someone like you. I hope a door opens for you.

    =Dave

  • makes sense. you're basically satisfying two different fields of interest. Christianity and good music :D

  • Very good. I arrived at this video after watching your speed-picking demonstration.

I can see what people are saying about you having a sort of generic sound. I like this kind of music, but there is a lot of it (I'm not just refering to Christian music, but the overall sound, too). This doesn't make the sound any worse, but it may make it more difficult to become larger.

I hope you keep making music and reach the hearts of people who need you.

  • Thank you my friend! Many Blessings to you!!!

    =Dave

  • to each his own I reckon.

  • Dave, I don't care what people say to cut you down from the path of using your God-given talents for His Glory and to serve Him. Just keep at it and your eyes on Jesus and he will continue to direct you in his plan for your life to reach many souls for Christ. Don't let people discourage and bother you with their fire darts. Forgive them... You seem to enjoy playing a variety of instruments along with diff types of music as I also do, but not as many instr. Id love too. Great speed n God speed!!

  • Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I sent you a message.

    =Dave

  • very cool i love jesus, im proud of being christian ...

  • You're an extremely talented guitarist, but I can't force myself to listen to the lyrics. Play metal, you have the natural speed to be a great metal guitarist.

  • awsom

  • im sure you arent a bad promoter as much as a generic songwriter. its especially hard to be a successful christian band when so many songs sound so similar. in my own opinion, i think you would see more musical activity as an independent studio musician

  • I can't think of any Christian bands that have a sound anything like ours? What do you mean by independent studio musician?

    =Dave

  • And this is your band? Three Nails?

Very awesome, keep up the good work no matter what!

  • Yes, and thank you so much!!

    =Dave

  • Vry Gud SonG!

  • nice work man have u been signed up never hear u on tv

  • Thanks bud. We are still unsigned & undiscovered as of yet.. =( I love to write music, sing & play, but I'm a poor promoter/manager.

    =Dave

  • Wow. That was kind of like, amazingly good.

  • Thank you.

  • i really enjoy this track, although it's not what i excpected. awsome music!

  • Thanks for your kind words!

  • good song i love it congrats on the world record

  • more stupid book ever??? You were learnde purrdy goud at skool eh.

  • that's a pretty epic solo.

    fo sho

  • i see you made this as a response to a Third Day song...you like them?...they are one of the most hard rocking bands around....and they are christian..they are awesome

  • Third Day is awesome. They are going to be at the Creation Festival (wish I could make it).

  • iam very confused you have the picking speed record you like Slayer and you go to the Creation Festival? this music is not what i expected from you. but i do like it

  • Thanks man. I actually don't care for Slayer, although technically they are talented musicians.

  • oooh lol yeah they are pretty talented.

  • sick song it really said a lot plus some of the christian music gets annoying this is really good and definitely says a lot keep writing songs man they are sick

  • ok 666perormuerto666 how would you like it if you wher nailed on a CROSS and chanted at till you died

  • Why is your Jesus white ... and ripped. He must have gotten quite a workout carrying that cross. It turned him white, too. Try opening your eyes and learning some true history and maybe then you'll really see who Jesus really was.

  • well first of all i'm not religious, but heres some facts, Jesus was middle eastern, he did a labor intensive job for a living so he was most likely in pretty good shape, HE WAS DEFINETLY NOT WHITE, and he would of been shorter then the normal person today

  • You've missed the point of the song by becoming wrapped up in insignificant details. If Jesus were green or purple, skinny or fat, would it matter? Our perception of His physical presence does nothing for us, and the history you speak of is The Bible. Have you read His word?

    =Dave

  • well said!

  • BIBLE IS THE MORE STUPID BOOK EVER.

  • Yet you have the number of the beast in your screen name, that makes no sense at all. Do you or don't you believe confused one?

  • i dont believe neither in god not in the beast.

And the bible are stories for childrens about jews.

and that, number of the beast, is a longer story.

sorry for my english, and nice song by the way.

  • Then why on Earth would you visit our site?

  • your site?

    hahaha yeah!

    (nice song)

  • Yes, Mr. All-knowing, OUR site. I am the guitar and keyboard player, as well as the producer.

I don't mean to get nasty here, but it is obvious that all you want to do is stir up trouble in spite of the music.

    Landon Johnson

    Guitars, keyboards and backing vocals

    Three Nails

  • OK man, your right.

    Sorry to bother you.

  • Jesus was actually a carpenter..and back then, they obviously didnt have power tools or anything..so he must have been a strong guy...but that really doesn't matter anyway, does it?

  • Powerful song

  • It's a great music. 6 points.

  • is this your band???/ it sounds great!!!

  • Thanks man, I appreciate that! We're still trying to be "discovered" so please share if you like.

    =Dave

PS, have you seen any of our others?

  • just looked at them now. there amazing. are you guys on itunes??

  • Thanks so much. Don't know how to get on itunes. Do you think we could get "discovered" there?

  • absolutely! because itunes home page has recently added bands, bands on the rise categories, and people interested in christian rock can type that in the genre spot and find a list of bands, including this one.

  • Thanks bud, I'll see if I can figure it out... and thanks for the advice!!

    =D

  • no problem. i told all my class mates about this band :) !!! maybe the church could play it on a cdand religious ed class too because if you listen to the lyrics it has the best moral message in 4 minutes i have ever heard

  • Thanks again bud!! Don't know if you saw the other vid of when I was writing this song, but it has the lyrics annotated. Let me know how your mates like. =Dave

  • dave this might be the best one yet!

    great job bud!

  • Thanks again Soaringxbird, as always, my sincere appreciation for yours!

I wish I knew how to share these songs with more people.

    =Dave

  • its nice to hear a good Christian band

  • the guitar is a nice backing. very good tablature, very melo and nice song. it could make a good hit.

only one problem...its religious. gah, soo lame, religion is such fucking bullshit, sorry bro...but yeah. tsk tsk tsk, feeble minded people :]

  • shadowbendor, this maybe isn't the music that will earn a lot of money, but it certainly has other more respected values:) money isn't a god that should be placed above the real One. this song has a soul, and that is also worth more than money. sorry for writing a novel to you, I assume you were joking:), but it's for those who read this to see the better side of the song

  • Thanks hrcyx, I was in deep prayer when I wrote this.

  • Great Job!

  • niceeeee

  • We hope you enjoy this video.
