Very nice looking train. American trains look so interesting compared to here in Europe. Do they bother you for being so close to tracks and with radio?
I was standing on a station platform, no closer than any passenger would be, actually a little farther back than many. The radio is no problem at all in Pennsylvania, although that is not the case is some states.
Wow, that's a long train for a local. Nice video. It's ok to photo trains in USA. Long as you don't interfere with trains. For example like setting up on a switch as a stand. Or be too close (within 6 ft.) to moving trains on the RR's property. Other than that no problem.

Woodbourne is usually good for a few trains early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

There are two grade crossings in the video. The horn blew for the first (far) crossing, but not for the second (near).

They let you talk with lok on radio?? Thats very neat. I wish here we can do that. Find out when train arrives.
