It's an amazing car. Since I got my license, It was the first German Car I drove. The Feel is unparalleled by the Japanese cars or w/e, It was fun to drive. Solid Suspension and Brakes. I did sharp turns at 90km/h without feeling them and the look is sporty.

I agree to the reviewer's "sluggish" acceleration comment. I test drove the 2.0T last week. Beautiful car. But absolutely no power at all until the turbo kicks in, and that takes a few seconds too many for my taste as I merge onto busy freeways a lot. If I lived in a rural area I wouldn't care as much. There was so little power when pulling away from a standstill I actually asked the dealer "is there something wrong with the engine? There's no power!" To call it a turbo is misleading.

this car gets even better fuel efficiency than what was mentioned, considering current gas prices in Canada around 132.3 which we all know they shouldnt be above 110 if that because of greedy corporate conglomerates. This car is a best choice besides the GTI or Golf Diesel engine. This car is a must buy

Love this car... I did not think I would go with a VW again but this car changed my mind. There is not car in this price range that looks or drives as well as this car does. I just wish VW would have more exciting paint options and offer the Dynaudio sound system in the lowet models.

Ofcourse in todays market fuel prices are important you dont want the car that gives you 15mph. I was at the dealership test driving the CC and my concern was if i can use regular gas and the size of gas tank. The saleman told me it was 15.5 gallon i look at the vw website and its says clearly 18.5 tank size does anyone knew that plus it takes premium gas ... Very nice car by the way but has little down side to it

these guys have it wrong, I have a 2.0 and i easily get 36 on the highway. and that;s not exaggeration. you can ask any owner of a VW with the 210 hp 2.0 turbo engine what their fuel economy is and they'll be excited to tell you they get well over 35 on the highway and a common 28-30 in the city.
