It's a big achievement to quit those drugs cold turkey. I quit methadone and heroin in '98 and didn't sleep for almost 4 to 5 weeks. It was horrible, so I know what you're going through. So the naloxone is over kill and terrible for long term use I lost my teeth hallucinated and blacked out hit my knee and head when I switched to bupe only so it was the naloxone wd witch last 90days and the damage in the brain it takes 8years to recover fully. So the dea FDA need to be banned for this shit or ban naloxone for chronic use

Now buprenorphine is helping me allot for chronic pain much less dysphoria i never vomit any more I eat. Congrats on kicking the suboxone! It probably would of been much milder had you tapered a bit (or at all), while I'm sure you don't let the internet "haters" get to you, make sure you don't. Stick with it, jumping off 32mg's of suboxone... well you should expect withdrawals, as any doctor would have you taper down to around 1-2mg (often lower) before you get off it. But stay off it.

Its very easy to get caught up in an opiate addiction...be thankful youre notbeing prescribed any narcotics.Itll be the best thing youve ever tried and youll get hooked just like this guy. So many addicts start off using from an actual prescription for pain. The longer you are addicted to opiates, or any other drug for that matter,..Your body progresses with the addiction. Withdrawal symptoms last a lot longer than they used to, from when you've first started. Whereas an addict for 2 years may be able to "kick a habit" in a week or two,...An addict of 20 + years may withdrawal for a month or two. The longer you are addicted,.. the longer it takes to withdrawal. This may not be the case for everyone, as every human body reacts differently.
Before i comment, Suboxone. Is this a Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, sublinggual tablet, you know you put it under your tongue and let it dissolve ? Because if it is this guy is having a really bad time. I know all peoples bodys and mind are different but this sounds dreadful. i must say this drug in the UK is used for crhonic pain and not just for opiate withdrawal . @BrcCmplfan k-pins are very addictive, so you need to be carefull when using those (just like valium or ativan or xanax) benzodiazopines can litteraly kill you if you get addicted. but they do help so its got its ups and downs. be better off taking clonodine and bentyle (.side note your hallucinations coul be from bentyle IF your taking that)

This is the creator of the video, through the detox and rehab, i forgot all my old passwords and stuff. An update, i am sober, today. Have been since January, but i did not make it through the withdrawal, i gave up around day 20 or so and went back to H. In july i went to La Hacienda treatment facility in Kerville, Texas. Relapsed a few times, but now i haved moved to Austin and live in a sober house. I love many of yalls comments, thank you for the support and i hoped these videos were of use,
@TravisBurns1984 I went there in 2005 and moved into a sober house in Cedar Park...that was way before I went anywhere near heroin though. BTW taking anymore than 4 8mg subs is pointless because of the ceiling.

Hey hun try this stuff called kratom powder. It worked really well for me when I came off 4mgs a day. I just took it as I needed it. Its legal in most states and you can buy it online. It doesnt get you high or anything but its an opiod and it takes away a lot of the withdrawal symptoms. Not all of them but it definately makes it bearable. Also I would reccomend going to the dr. and getting anxiety medication if you can to help you sleep and of course for the anxiety. <3

So found out that my back pain for these 4 years was not from my snowboarding accident and neck surgery it was from REAL BAD acid reflux from gallblader burning my esophagus, so these doctors were giving me pain meds UGHH for the wrong thing, i lost 4 years of my life and now because of the pain pills messed up my liver, and the subs messed up my head lol... I did have a love afair with pills, so not all the doc fault, and yah im on anxiety pills now.
Well the reason you were feeing fine for 3 days is because you were on 32 mgs a day, so it takes a couple days for the drug to wear down far enough to put you in withdrawal. Suboxone has a longer half life or something like that how are you doing now though?

maybe you guys that are still suffering from sub withdrawal should take a look at Ibogaine. I did this detox.. lasted 8mo though much less intense. Failed after 8mo.

I am into the 3rd week off saboxone, i tapered to 2mg a day for over a month. I am still very sick at 3 weeks i had no idea this would be so painful. If i could have got my hands on any opoid i would have gone back to it. But now at 3 weeks it is starting to subside, I am very wek and still don't sleep well. I was a 6 year opoid addict. I looks like you can get off Saboxone but you may need 3 weeks or so and a strong constitution. Good Luck to all who jump off. Get your dose to 1/2 mg

This seems to be the case with the synthetics. They burry deep into the system thus the long withdrawl periods, they dont tell you this before puttung you on. I am on the Duralgesic patch for back pain. The good news is I cant abuse it, not that I would, because it would be pointless. The bad news is I am bound to fuck up applying a patch or have on fall off prematurely and if that happens its tough luck. I am planning to go suboxone when I have less patches than I need, I see no alternative.

It's all about being responsible with this drug, you shouldn't knock the one tool addicts have to help us recover. 32mgs a day is wrong. you should research drugs before you use, and find a good trustable clinic. What programs have you tried while on suboxone ? I would bet it's 0 I do wish you luck, and all other adicts who are using Suboxone with counciling, and N.A.
Suboxone works if you wean off of it slowly! I broke my 8mg tablet into 4 sections and noticed that Suboxone withdrawa started about 4 days after discontinuation. I took a quarter of a tablet for 2 weeks. I had minor goose bumps and sneezing but not for long. Restiril for sleep!

It's good to see some true honesty about suboxone. I find that it is worse than any withdrawal due to the long half life. Sleep is impossible, and it's really all that you want. It's august... I really hope you made it through man.
Hi all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. Msg me......

Oh my God, this guy is an Idiot..If u taper slowly and jump from the lowest dose then u dont get much withdrawals..I certainly didnt..And i was on Subutex for 5 years..Then again we have 0.4mg and 0.2mg tabs here, so thus makes Tapering Easier!. @easynowww We also have 2 mg. tablets and also a generic brand which is wayyy cheaper than Suboxone.. I am currently coming off of the bup and actually took 4 mgs sub and mixed it with 10 ml of h2o. I use a very small oral syringe to wean to the smallest amount. I have been doing okay. I was at a much higher dose. Easy until down to the 2-1mgs......I dont think its the ppl here who do things differently, its the Drs who have little exp. Wish me luck & congrats to those who have made it off...

WHat most dont realise is buprenorphine works best in lower dosages,which means less withdrawl.
They are drawn out,but compared to morphine or oxy or heroin withdrawl or anyother full agonist its nothing.

Its very easy to get caught up in an opiate addiction...be thankful youre notbeing prescribed any narcotics.Itll be the best thing youve ever tried and youll get hooked just like this guy. So many addicts start off using from an actual prescription for pain. So be thankful and deal with your sore muscles/bones with tylonol..cuz i bet the pain your going through now is nothing compared to what youll feel when your addicted and u run out of narcotics for a cple days.

how many have you have been addicted to oxycontin and sat everyday wishing you had never taken that first pill? during the time you was addicted did you regret everytime you snorted that pill or shot it up? or even chewed it? right after doing it? basically $40 bucks for a two hour high if your in full detox mode it takes at least 3 before you start feeling better again. how many has moved furniture looking for one you dropped ? how many of you have kids? how many times have you quit ? godbless

The longer you are addicted to opiates, or any other drug for that matter,..Your body progresses with the addiction. Withdrawal symptoms last a lot longer than they used to, from when you've first started. Whereas an addict for 2 years may be able to "kick a habit" in a week or two,...An addict of 20 + years may withdrawal for a month or two. The longer you are addicted,.. the longer it takes to withdrawal. This may not be the case for everyone, as every human body reacts differently.

Before i comment, Suboxone. Is this a Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, sublinggual tablet, you know you put it under your tongue and let it dissolve ? Because if it is this guy is having a really bad time. I know all peoples bodys and mind are different but this sounds dreadful. i must say this drug in the UK is used for crhonic pain and not just for opiate withdrawal . This is a controlled drug and i have never felt any of these, symptoms. I checked they are both the same drug just different name

Can't hear u cuz of ur gay song but suboxone withdrawal is worse than oxy withdrawal but it's not that bad u just have to taper off and DO NOT TAKE AS DIRECTED take for a 2 to 5 days then quit only take it to detox it's a amazing drug for detox but it's highly addictive if u continue to take it every day ur body becomes dependent and needs it IF u r dependent and want to get off it slowly taper off if u take 2pills a day start by taking 1 instead them go down to half a pill then 0 u r going to

@BrcCmplfan k-pins are very addictive, so you need to be carefull when using those (just like valium or ativan or xanax) benzodiazopines can litteraly kill you if you get addicted. but they do help so its got its ups and downs. be better off taking clonodine and bentyle (.side note your hallucinations coul be from bentyle IF your taking that)

This is the creator of the video, through the detox and rehab, i forgot all my old passwords and stuff. An update, i am sober, today. Have been since January, but i did not make it through the withdrawal, i gave up around day 20 or so and went back to H. In july i went to La Hacienda treatment facility in Kerville, Texas. Relapsed a few times, but now i haved moved to Austin and live in a sober house. I love many of yalls comments, thank you for the support and i hoped these videos were of use,

Hey hun try this stuff called kratom powder. It worked really well for me when I came off 4mgs a day. I just took it as I needed it. Its legal in most states and you can buy it online. It doesnt get you high or anything but its an opiod and it takes away a lot of the withdrawal symptoms. Not all of them but it definately makes it bearable. Also I would reccomend going to the dr. and getting anxiety medication if you can to help you sleep and of course for the anxiety. <3

ty for getting back to me...... So found out that my back pain for these 4 years was not from my snowboarding accident and neck surgery it was from REAL BAD acid reflux from gallblader burning my esophagus, so these doctors were giving me pain meds UGHH for the wrong thing, i lost 4 years of my life and now because of the pain pills messed up my liver, and the subs messed up my head lol... I did have a love afair with pills, so not all the doc fault, and yah im on anxiety pills now.

Well the reason you were feeing fine for 3 days is because you were on 32 mgs a day, so it takes a couple days for the drug to wear down far enough to put you in withdrawal. Suboxone has a longer half life or something like that how are you doing now though?

The doctor was perscribing me massive amounts of narcotics. My moment of clairity came when 160mg of oc wasnt kicking in I realized that was enough to kill most people...I had to get myself into mmt. But as i watch this video, I have to say that what this dude is saying is totally and utterly true-BUT DONT STOP TAKING THE SUBS ABRUPTLY!!!!!!! 32mgs is a lot of bubprenorphine! maybe you guys that are still suffering from sub withdrawal should take a look at Ibogaine. I did this detox.. lasted 8mo though much less intense. Failed after 8mo.

@sisterwin2 fuck that i did iboga in mexico and 4 months later relapsed, its a scam, the depression will be really bad and life long thing if you do iboga, granted. dont do it, i was on sub and tried to quit with iboga, didnt work after 4 months, its bullshit and a scam, your depression will be immense, my doctor even said u shouldnt hve done iboga, its a temp cure at best but boy when that iboga comes down your fucked. dont believe the hype, i knw 1 lady who suicided when iboga wore off.

I am into the 3rd week off saboxone, i tapered to 2mg a day for over a month. I am still very sick at 3 weeks i had no idea this would be so painful. If i could have got my hands on any opoid i would have gone back to it. But now at 3 weeks it is starting to subside, I am very wek and still don't sleep well. I was a 6 year opoid addict. I looks like you can get off Saboxone but you may need 3 weeks or so and a strong constitution. Good Luck to all who jump off. Get your dose to 1/2 mg

never had physical pain or dicomfort mine at all detoxes has been mental,hallucinations and no sleep for weeks first time ended in heart attack second time lost 7 year 20.00 dollar hour job and divorce no third ttime for me I.m done with the anyone can do it bullshit.Real help is unaffordable.

This seems to be the case with the synthetics. They burry deep into the system thus the long withdrawl periods, they dont tell you this before puttung you on. I am on the Duralgesic patch for back pain. The good news is I cant abuse it, not that I would, because it would be pointless. The bad news is I am bound to fuck up applying a patch or have on fall off prematurely and if that happens its tough luck. I am planning to go suboxone when I have less patches than I need, I see no alternative.

Hope you tuffed it out so this wasnt all for nothing,I'm day 120 from cold turkey methadone and it sounds pretty simular to what I was feeling,I found bali kratom to be a god send for any opiate withdrawal,Even gives you a mild vicoden like feeling,If I had the money I woulda stayed on kratom for 6 months then taper from that but I lost my job from withdrawals so I was screwed.Now we have paws to deal with =/

It's all about being responsible with this drug, you shouldn't knock the one tool addicts have to help us recover. 32mgs a day is wrong. you should research drugs before you use, and find a good trustable clinic. What programs have you tried while on suboxone ? I would bet it's 0 I do wish you luck, and all other adicts who are using Suboxone with counciling, and N.A.

Suboxone works if you wean off of it slowly! I broke my 8mg tablet into 4 sections and noticed that Suboxone withdrawa started about 4 days after discontinuation. I took a quarter of a tablet for 2 weeks. I had minor goose bumps and sneezing but not for long. Restiril for sleep!

It's good to see some true honesty about suboxone. I find that it is worse than any withdrawal due to the long half life. Sleep is impossible, and it's really all that you want. It's august... I really hope you made it through man.

Hi all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. Msg me......

Oh my God, this guy is an Idiot..If u taper slowly and jump from the lowest dose then u dont get much withdrawals..I certainly didnt..And i was on Subutex for 5 years..Then again we have 0.4mg and 0.2mg tabs here, so thus makes Tapering Easier!. U have to change mentallity which u had when u was picking up a drug/opiate..Also Excercise, be less bitter, less jeleous, less narrow minded. Think Positive and just taper properly. Gosh yanks are loserrs and weak mnd and DUMB!.,...P.S am a Girl!!!!!!..

@easynowww We also have 2 mg. tablets and also a generic brand which is wayyy cheaper than Suboxone.. I am currently coming off of the bup and actually took 4 mgs sub and mixed it with 10 ml of h2o. I use a very small oral syringe to wean to the smallest amount. I have been doing okay. I was at a much higher dose. Easy until down to the 2-1mgs......I dont think its the ppl here who do things differently, its the Drs who have little exp. Wish me luck & congrats to those who have made it off...
