I just wish that the tonight show portrayed Kevin doing solo stuff like this once in a while. The only time was at the end. Maybe he played for the audience but I never understood why they didn't let him do some of this stuff on the show. Probably friggin NBC bullshit politics or something.

Kevin Eubanks is an extremely talented musician. It is sad to see him leave Leno, but I know he is doing it for a good cause. Late Night just lost the greatest guitar player out of all late night shows. He topped them all.

this sounds like an improvisation on the main melodic theme of

"Praise to the Lord" an old church hymn.

this kind of playing takes you to some other kind of existence,

it allows you in and you want to be caressed with each note.
