  • I think you draw really good :) Don't doubt yourself so much! Love your journal. I think I'm going to make one soon :D

  • @vintageinabottle Thank you for your sweet message to me. Hope you enjoy making yours :)

  • I think there is an inner artist in you :) You were very consistent in each page, they all flowed together nicely and I loved your drawings. Congrats on sticking through it, I don't think I could have. It's a beautiful art journal.

  • @jen4524 Awww thank you so much. Some weeks were harder to complete then others. It was a commitment but so glad I did it :)

  • LOVE IT supremely! I am turning into such a groupie of yours.....

  • @candipill Thank you...lol would that mean I am a rock star...my girls would disagree as I can't sing even though I do it all the time. LOL.

  • @TracysTreasures24 - I have never given up my secret desire to be a hard core rocker - wanna start a band? I reckon if we call ourselves a death metal band no one will even know that we cant sing!

  • @candipill LOL, oh the music would have to be very loud to drown out my voice....I think I am a good singer, but my girls seem to disagree, lol

  • i personally love your art work for a girl who says you cant draw you did a great imitation ( teach me to watch the whole video before commenting lol. that grow page amazing and no its not cheating its a learning technique believe it or not. my son took a course and thats what they taught him. it helps keeps things in perspective. I really love your book. its amazing.

  • @puffyjo Thank you so much.

If tracing is an art technique I have been practicing it my whole life ;)

Again thank you for your sweet comment on my art journal.

  • ok better late than never lol . this is just too funny . i also bought several of those albums and hoarded them lol. i just just gave that very book to my daughter cause i have 4 of them in different colors. not knowing really what to do with them as of yet lol. now i know what do with them . great work as always another vid for my faves list . take care love Jo

  • @puffyjo Thanks again Jo.

I only had the one book. But I did add different types of papers to it as I needed them. Like water paper or copic paper.

  • Love your H♥art journal!! I am planning to make something similar. Your drawing skills are wonderful!!!! Love everything about your journal! TFS Tammy

  • @olsenpride Thank you Tammy. It was a neat experience for me.

  • OMGosh Tracy I just heart this He-Art Journal!! :o) The drawing of your daughter is fabulous and your colouring too. I also love the Halloween pages a lot and you are so right about parents and molding, I defenitely agree with you on that.

    TFS!! Hugs, Leonie.

  • @MyPassionForPaper Thank you so much Leonie :)

This was all new to me, I am so glad I did it.

  • OMG!!! I cannot believe how incredibly creative you are! There is nothing wrong with your drawing. It's actually very good. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • @DivaHarmoni Thank you so much. My brother is an artist, he can draw anything. I never took art in school as I didn't think I was good enough. Your comment put a smile on my face. Thank you.

  • Wow, such a great journal and love all your colouring. I don't have any of the copic marks as yet but they are on my wish list, but there is a lot of things on there.lol Have a great weekend.

    Hugs Emjay x

  • @emjay2307 Thank you so much Emjay :) I first started colouring with Sharpies and Bics markers.

Also my Stampin' Up markers, they are water colouring markers though.

  • This is so awesome!!!!Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • @ChristyLove1861 Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)

  • Such a great art journal Tracy. It doesnt batter if things are wonky it is freestyle art. I know what you mean about having things symmetrical. I am like that too LOL - Lynn

  • @Scrapitydoodah Thanks Lynne. I am trying to be more free with my art, but its just not who I am ;)

  • Wow! Great job!

  • @wishupondreams Thank you :)

  • i dont own any gesso either. you did an awesome job in this book. i love the colors on all the pages. its all so different. you did great. tfs

  • @stephanoid69 Thank you so much Stephanie :) I have since purchased some gesso, now to figure out what the heck to do with it, lol.

  • @TracysTreasures24 i buy tons of clemetines(oranges)at the store in the crates. i use the the orange stuff afterwards to add a texture. use can save stuff like that and use the gesso over that

  • I love your journal! Especially love how you incorporated many techniques. A treasure book for sure!

  • @rsingr100 Thank you :)

  • This is a piece of art you should be really proud of Tracy, this book is fabulous. I love every detail.

    Happy crafting

    Tracy x

  • @CountryMouse107 Thank you so much Tracy. You always leave me such sweet messages :)

  • I stayed and watched the whole video Tracy lol. I too am no artist but I have taken a few art journalling courses. You and I are alike in that we cannot let go and be free with the page. My 27 yr old daughter who is an artist always says just let go mum and create, don't worry about lines and it being straight and balanced etc but Tracy I have not learnt to do that yet ROTFLOL. I love every one of her art journals so maybe one day I will let go hey? Awesome journal btw love it!

    Hugs

    MIchelle

  • @bohemiangypsy99 Thank you so much Michelle. Happy you stayed and watched the whole dang thing, lol. I love when my girls would scrapbook with me, as they would just go for it, and not worry about everything being just so.

    Love that about kids :)

  • Love your book. The front is so cute. I love the greeting farm images. I hope to get some when our finances are better. TYFS. Best Wishes Lucinda

  • @goldyfishls Thank you Lucinda. I only have a couple Greeting Farms stamps. They are cute aren't they

  • Wow, speechless!! I loved your book.. Very creative, loved the drawings (even if you don't think you can draw) & can't wait to try it.. :-)

  • @lakerchickstm Thank you so much. Have fun with yours :)

  • It turned out Beautiful! I love it! I wish I knew how to draw like you...LOL Although you don't think you know how to draw, I think it's stunning! Great job on the drawings and the album itself. I would LOVE to see a tutorial or something on how to make your albums. That was pretty cool.

  • @KraftyScoutVlog Thank you so much. As for this album I didn't make it, I did add pages as I needed some water colour paper in here, and some copic quality papers.

  • It is a piece of art. I loved everything about. I wish I could draw like you! Beautiful thanks for sharing

  • @TheReatelier Thank you so much. I think my tracing turned out pretty awesome, teehee.

  • aww you're so sweet to use my image on your journal! The book looks lovely so far!!! :o). I really I have the time to do that... :o(.

  • @cherylthelene Thank you for colouring that image for me Cherylene. You know I love your colouring, its so gorgeous.

  • @TracysTreasures24: SHhhh.... Tracy, you over praising again!!! lol. I think my colouring is not as good any more since I don't have that much time to colour nowadays.

  • Love how you made the cover pink hehe... awesome! It's great that you finish and your p365 too.

  • @Boriville Thank you. So nice to be completed two major projects :)

  • Yeah, that is weird about the old photographs. I wouldn't like it if people used my old photographs or pictures of my family from the 50's, or any time for that matter, in their art.Kind of creepy.

You forgot the 'l' in 'healthy' :-) I misspell stuff too. Funny how you don't notice that.

  • @SleepyMushroomFairy I fixed the misspelling. I did write that on the video ;)

I just find it sad about the photos. They are like lost souls :(

  • Fabulous work, Tracy! What a treasure of the He-Art! I remember buying one of those same books...what a great use for it! You were all the way in Montana and didn't stop in? lol Thanks for sharing!...Nancy :o)

  • @nickelnook1 I thought you were from Canada Nancy?

There were a couple of ladies that wanted us to visit, but we sadly were on a time limit...can't wait for hubby to retire :)

  • @TracysTreasures24 I am from Canada! If you were in Montana then you were right under Saskatchewan...so close! I was just teasing! lol :o)

  • @nickelnook1 I have been to Saskatchewan, actually my brother lived there for a couple of years. I would love to meet up with some of my creative friends on here...maybe one day :)

  • You did a great job, and your drawing was very good!

  • @BlackWid0w Thank you so much :)

  • I think that you did a great job! Be very proud of the book and your family

  • @thewlette Thank you :) I am :)

  • It's fun to see all that work you put into it all at once. What a great job. That's two huge projects finished. You go. Can't wait to see what you do this year.

  • @AMatterofScrap Thank you Dena, I am burnt out already, lol.

  • I love The He-Art Journal, you done an amazing job on it, love all pages, you sure have been busy with journalling with your P365 and the He-Art journal. both are amazing. TFS .....Yvonne :)

  • @ywhite22 Thank you so much Yvonne :) It seems like I have a lot to say with all this journaling :)

  • Excellent, i am trying that too....

  • @sogua2000 Thanks, have fun with yours.

  • This is great Tracy! I too have not had the confidence to Art Journal but you have inspired me! TFS Alyson x

  • @Alyluvsminialbums Thank you :) You should try it, use the prompts from this one as a starting point.

  • That journal is awesome love your pages hugs Terrie

  • @oneCraftycookie Thank you so much Terrie

  • Okay Tracy a couple of things: you can draw and very well at that. As far as one boob bigger than the other that's just art depicting life; most women I know have that occur naturally! ;p

The other thing is I love your campsite and zombie pages. I almost sent you a pm yesterday because I had a zombie dream, it was actually pretty cool. I think I must be going through Walking Dead withdrawals. February needs to get here already!!

Great job on all the pages!

    hugs, Sybil

  • @JandSib80 Thank you so much Sybil :) I know every woman is not perfectly proportioned but the drawing is really lopsided, lol.

As for the zombie dreams...that happens to everyone here in my family...so welcome to the family Sybil ;)

I have been having zombie dreams as well lately...yup I need my walking dead, lol. I think I may need to get my fix by watching season 1 again :)

  • Wow, this is amazing. I'm working on one of my own now. I can't wait to get it done. Great job!!! BTW, your drawing is AWESOME!

  • @rmpoohbear75 Thank you so much. Have fun with your journal.

About the drawings.,...you are to kind :)

  • Haha, loved your zombie page! The "chaos" pages really stood out for me... really dynamic and interesting composition, and I like all the nuances and details. Even though it was about chaos, and I can see a lot of freedom in the arrangment, I think it has a natural harmony to it. Thanks for sharing your journal with us, it was fun to see your pages :)

  • @TheBonnieRose Thank you so much Bonnie :) Wow love how you explained my page, I feel like an artist now ;)

  • Awesome job Tracy. I'm OCD too about a lot of things, hard for me to be free-spirited and spontaneous, I must plan everything thoroughly, and use straight lines! I love the thought of the prompts and your therapeutic response. You are a brave and creative woman! ttys, Angie

  • @NonnieScrap Thank you Angie. I needed the prompts or I probably wouldn't have done this. I wouldn't have any idea what to do, lol

  • What a great journal! You have such a wonderful outlook on life. This will be something you and your family will look back on and really enjoy. Thanks for sharing! I loved it.

  • @dontazer Thank you so much. It was fun and so neat to see what the other women came up with for the weekly challenges.

  • Very cool! I love messy, but I appreciate the challenge for you here since you prefer neat. It is really beautiful and inspiring. I'm thinking of giving the prompts a try :)

  • @lesleycreations I wish I could be more freeing, but as you saw, that is as freeing as I could get, lol.

You should give them a try :)

  • Sharing....oopsie

  • This is a wonderful journal! Your love of life and family comes through so clearly..thank you or haring

  • @DebiP51 Thank you :) I do love my life even with all the flaws it has, lol.

  • oooh that project sounds like fun! You did a great job with your drawings :) I love my art journal if for no other reason than to play and use colours I dont normally use... all of that kind of thing.

  • @gemstonesmurf Thank you, I seem to never play with my supplies and such. If I play it is usually with a project in mind. Maybe I should start a play journal :)

  • wow this is not my confort zone either. you did a really great job.

    thank you for sharing...

  • @nbreault1 Thank you for watching my long video ;)

  • You did a great job - it looks like so much fun and what a great way to start an art journal. I think you are underestimating your drawing skills, the pictures look great. Tfs xx Michelle

  • @ThePaperAddiction Thank you Michelle. I traced the one photo. I have always said I can't draw, but I'm an excellent tracer, lol.

  • Wonderful job Tracy! Looks like you had fun with it.

  • @happyscrappingirl Thank you, I did enjoy making the pages.

  • Great Job, Tracy! I've never attempted an art journal, because I share the same aversion to "messiness" in my craft as you do. I truly admire those artists who are able to freely slap paint and images on a page to create something beautiful, but it's just not my style. Your lovely and interesting journal has inspired me to give this project a try! Holly M.

  • @springhillpaperplay Thank you so much Holly. I too admire those that can put their pencil to paper and come out with stunning works of art.

  • what's he-art and what's greeting farms?

  • @KustomFu He-Art Journal, was just a play on words. Heart + Art = He-Art.

Greeting Farms is a stamp company that put the challenge together.

  • Love your book I have not started on yet, but I'm hopful that I can start one this year : ))

    thanks so much for sharing.

    warm hugs

    rosanne

  • @roxycar11 Thank you Rosanne. I wouldn't have made this book if not for my blogging friends. Like I said I am not an Art Journal type of person. I wish I was. Even though I completed the challenges, I think most of my pages look more like scrapbooking pages, but thats okay :)

  • This looked really fun. I've never done an art journal either. Love it. You sound like me wanting everything symetrical, and just so etc. You will kill me and I wish I could type this in wee letters, but on your Dream page you left the L out of Healthy. I'd want to know if it was me, and I know you just overlooked it. Probably will drive you batty 'till you fix it. Forgive me - I just noticed it. TFS Of course, you could leave it and say your goal was to leave the "ill" out. ;)

    Hugs, Pam xxx

  • @theoneandonlygrand Thank you so much Pam....thanks for the heads up on the missing "L" :) You know I ran down as soon as I read your comment and fixed it. It was late last night, but I couldn't go to sleep until I had corrected it, lol.

  • @TracysTreasures24 OMG Tracy, you are so like me. Well now we can both rest better that your "L" is in place! And I'm still alive, you didn't kill me! hehe Again, loved the journal and your drawings were terrific too!!! Take care!

    Hugs, Pam xxx

  • I love the journal. It Nice Job. And you can draw, I wish I could. My favorite page was the Halloween one. It reminded me of the Nightmare before Christmas movie. Maureen

  • @Momo01851 Thank you Maureen. I had a blast putting that scene together. I had even coloured up another image, but it wouldn't fit on the page ;)

  • This is soooooo amazing! You are a fantastic artist! This book really shows it. So amazing! what a great record of your talent. I love this.

  • @LindaLap Thank you so much Linda. I am not sure about the "artist" part, but I did have fun doing the challenges.

  • Beautiful journal!!

    Tanya

  • @StorybookCreations Thank you Tanya

  • I love this! I'm always trying to Journal, but I'm not very good at it. And I love the idea of a Art Journal. I was thinking about doing one, but I didn't know where to start. This is awesome! :)

  • @athomewithcindy Thank you so much :) I have always journaled. I think it is because I love to talk, lol. This art journal was so out of my comfort zone, but so much fun.
