  • Fuck yeah. I love this song. Rip Chuck.

  • /watch?v=NGDvpO1jabg contains a small bit of a riff thats in this song!

  • @LennartCrescens :O YES!

  • so does Battery by Metallica but its a small part in the song lol

  • lol so many bands these days dont know what brutal is!!

  • @metalhead22burks This is 20,000x more brutal than any deathcore band ever! They think playing a breakdown every 5 seconds is brutal.....hell no.....THIS is brutal! Kicks my ass every time I listen to it.

  • @bizarredude101 Man, I'm in a deathcore band, but I agree with you on this is brutal, and not all deathcore bands do breakdowns all the time my band barely does them, they get really boring after a while.

  • @Megatallica12 A deathcore band that actually knows not to play breakdowns every 2 minutes?! WAHT? I must check you guys out!

  • @bizarredude101 If you're actually seriuos, look us up on facebook, Blinded By Poison, we could use some more likes.

  • @Megatallica12 Awesome bro :)

  • perfect

  • People seem to forget that genres are mearly blueprints to base your music off of there is no true sound to death metal, thrash or anyother genre, just the same core prinicipals...

  • It's always interesting to look at the roots of a metal style or the roots of Heavy Metal itself; so much thing has changed yet so little

  • Dear disciples, Here's the first Death Metal song of all time...and that's how Death Metal born. R.I.P. Chuck Schuldiner (Return If Possible)

  • 偶愛死金

  • ok, here is how it is, technically, this is death metal, but officially, back when it was recorded it was considered as thrash metal, people didnt start calling it death metal, (or making/using death metal at all for that matter) until just after bands like Death and Possessed started doing their thing, it all depends on how you look at it

  • indeed th golden age of death metal. let's not forget that the first death metal is Possessed's Seven Churches.

  • first song on the first death metal album

  • @poleeed You know that Seven Churches by Possessed was made 2 years before this. THAT was the first Death Metal album.

  • @IronPriest138 I was about to say the same thing. I wanted to show off my metal expertise.... >:(

  • @IronPriest138 Pfft, just because a band was known for a particular genre, doesn't mean they were entirely fitting to that genre from the very beginning of their career. Sure, Possessed released an album first, if you listen hard enough, is it as fitting the the modern definition of the genre as this?

  • @Unfortunateguy1 yea besides florida was the birthplace of death metal. possessed were from the bay area, so thats y they were considered thrash.

  • @Unfortunateguy17 Possessed in 1985 with Seven Churches was not DM in the sense that they had still a lot of Thrash elements, they were almost like Extreme Thrash, while Death already had this fast and furious sound we qualify as DM by 1984 with the demo Death by Metal under the name Mantas. And the very first album to get rid of all those Thrash influences was Leprosy in 88, it really changed the whole world of Metal.

  • 00:26!!!

  • @seedofcorruptionmtl not only cover, the music as well...

  • the album cover is awesome !

  • @MLarryMCaine232 It's a collective effort. Death was inspired by Possessed and Celtic Frost, Possessed and Celtic Frost were inspired by Slayer and Venom.

  • At least 90 times better than new metal.

  • HEY LISTEN UP METAL FANS

ALL METAL IS GOOD, DON'T HATE ON OTHER METAL GENRES, THEY ARE ALL GOOD

  • @dave1sfx If you're counting Nu-metal, you're wrong.

  • @UristMcgee

    nope.avi

  • @dave1sfx if it was all good then why would people like me hate on certain genres?

  • I just had to buy this album, so fucking awesome!

  • @LennartCrescens You did well!

  • BURN THOSE BODIES OF SLIPKNOT, ALL NU METALHEADS AND POP STARS
