If you watch his vids right at the end he will say something like for example, 'Castlevania property of Konami' and he can keep his copyright intact without infringing on the game companies rights. He does not need to own the game, he just needs to point out the owner of the game.

AVGN has stated that Irate gamer has not acknowledged him so he would also just pretend he doesnt exist. So you are probably right about it not being worth his time. I like both AVGN and IG. They aren't carbon copy's and in the real world they are copy's of everything or similarity's. IG may suit others while AVGN may suit others. Or in my case i enjoy both.
