@TheGoldenStudios Agreed, Vera F. wasn't award-worthy; it was process of elimination for me... I actually haven't seen Precious yet, so couldn't choose a performance I hadn't experienced! But I'm sure Mo'nique's win was well-deserved. I'm looking forward to seeing Precious shortly.
You invited me to your channel after I had commented on another user's review on The Road. Thanks. I like this vid. Please explain your comment on Damon: ..he got the type right.''
The accent comment I can understand.Usually American actors fail with South African accents - too forced and stereotyped never really bringing nuance to it.
I like your choices. Kudos to you not siding with the safe bets
I would love for district 9 to win more than anything but I really dont think it will win. my guess is either avatar, the hurt locker, or up in the air and I know this is a long shot but I think up could make a surprising run at it as well but I really dont want up in the air to win. if district 9 wins I will throw the biggest party ever
great video guys,i was hoping you would do an oscars episode.
have you seen precious?i really hated the film but monique was one of the few good things about it,i think she did a much better job than vera fermiga-her charecter had a much wider range of emotions.
Great picks, and as always, interesting! Really enjoyed watching your picks, and it was interesting to see that on some of the categories you felt the same!
As Always An Excellent review. The Oscars are a fun time. Look for my Oscar special this weekend. You will get to decide my fate in my predictions. Love your show and the opening.
excellent choices. Sorry Dad but I have to agree with Gab regarding James Cameron. He worked for 15yrs to bring his vision to the screen. Regardless of the film itself, it was what he wanted us to see is why we loved Avatar so much. I do however agree that The Hurt Locker should win Best Picture, although District is up there with it. Christoph Waltz should win Best Supporting Actor hands down. Here's to the Oscars :)

Haha! Kill Bill is my favorite too Dad!! James Cameron needs to stop making films...he's made enough money and needs to take another long break.

The intro is nice, but the music is quite annoying and its a bit too long! I liked it though.
Great video.
