I agree entirely, I've played Starcraft since I was 9 yrs old, and it's awesome, no other RTS game can compare itself to it, I only hope SC2 is better/just as good.

Nice game, but they could have waited a bit before attacking each other. At least to me it seems they used a quite desperate "kill the unborn in the womb" sort of tactic. For all the comments about "he could've done x, y, and z" - you gotta understand that both of them were playing on the highest level, where the game becomes a mind game of you know that he knows that you know, etc. Zerg played optimally for almost all situations. He lost only because Terran won the mind-game by doing something completely unexpected - against ANY other attack at that moment, Zerg would've done fine, but the Terran player had the genius to pull off a very unorthodox move to win.

Yes, they are adding units, and no, Protoss will not be the best. Just like the original game, every race will be completely balanced out against each other. Blizzard strives and is very famous for this.
The Zerg would have stopped that rush and been ahead if he let the hatchery die and build his sunkens just outside of his ramp. This would not have allowed the Marines to sit by the ramp entering his expansion area and forced the BoXeR to go back to his base, well behind economically. I'd rather lose a 300 mineral hatchery, a few larva and maybe a sunken while having my opponent not mine for 2-3 minutes.

well if you see the drone was interrupted by one of the first two marins. it got in the way. and his control was pretty good too. plus this was final or semifinal at least so it must have been a pretty tough choice for him. considering all these i woudln't call it crap.
That's sort of what makes playing against CPUs more fun. You actually get to use the units. In battles like this (marines + SCVs against zerglings + drones), it's not that fun to watch. The match only lasted five minutes? Boring!
CPU's hardly present much of a challenge. If you are into dull human conquests then yes I suppose you would want to watch CPUs. However, this is actual strategy with an unexpected twist. Excellent idea, excellent micro. Intense!
Just because you finally beat the campaign on normal doesn't mean you'll even make it to the championships. Trust me...I know koreans in korea that can beat anyone here in the US.
