I read about this on footballoutsiders and I actually think it looks really interesting. The director's goal is to portray Leaf as a deeply flawed yet ultimately sympathetic character, sort of like a tragic hero. I think this is exactly the sort of thing a good documentary is made of, it's not just like a website chronicling his downfall with obvious glee.

Leaf was a great college player, but should have waited a year to grow up before he went to the NFL. There isn't a person who has posted here who could carry his jockstrap or will make as much money in their lifetimes to match 1/10th what Leaf made in one year. It is too bad that he turned out to be an arrogant jerk, but the media destroyed a young man whose only crime was being too young and stupid to know better. Definitely a waste of film to beat the dead horse anymore.
