This isn't the steepest in the U.S. but it is the steepest of this type of rollercoaster... The physics of a negative drop on one of these as to that of Steel Hawg or mumbo jumbo makes it a pivotal point in its design. That and the harness design makes it look like you aren't strapped in and gives you the idea that you're flying.
actually its not the steepest drop, steel hawg at indiana beach (opened in 2008) has a 111 degree drop and it is the 2nd steepest in the world because mumbo jumbo in the UK has the same design exept the drop is 112 degrees.
