for some reason, the Nashville area does not impose environmental (65/truck:55) speed limits like they do in Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. By the way, Antioch is up ahead, birthplace of the financial guru, Dave Ramsey.
I will be saving these videos. That was really fun. I travel the highways for a living, not much of a life though I guess. Very cool video and I am going to try to watch them all. Also gonna get all of my friends to watch them too. Both of them! LOL
@Jean1juan That's a postcard, probably from the early 1990's looking south from I-24 East and I-65 South, the sign on the right (I-265 Memphis) is now I-65 South.
Also, I'd guesstimate the intro photo you used to be circa 1985 or 1986, based on the Nashville skyline and the horrid-looking condition of that early 1960's concrete!
Great, I just watched Smokey and the Bandit two days ago :)
In the Jerry Reed song "The Legend", which is the opening track in the film Smokey and the Bandit, Reed tells the story of the Bandit miraculously surviving brake failure on the "Monteagle Grade."
I likey!!!!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy watching them.
I wish sometimes that I could be on the road for a living (other than being a trucker), it beats being stuck in an office.
