  • Damn, you were lucky when abslom used sword dance right before you confused it and it hurt itself that badly lol.But you did amazing with status moves.Your opponent was pretty stupid at the end.Shadow ball?Pffft. Why not try to go down with some pride an use Psychic just to get the STAB...Nasty plot=one of the best status moves, thanks Gen IV :D

  • the moves of all of his pokemons are very good specially for the types of the attacks, ah and the types of his pokemons are ghost or normal, types that can annul certain cain of attacks, VERY GOOD

  • What did you EV train your Spiritomb? Just wanted to get an idea for when I train mine.

  • Spiritomb "Fuck you!!!!"

  • Oh my God you killed Absol! You bastard! xD. just kidding. but seriously I am kinda pissed.

  • the games i play is:

    -No Ubers

    -No Starters

-No items besides held items (dur)

    -No sleep moves

  • Lol your sets almost exactly the same as mine only I use shadow ball over dark pulse =p

    Mono-tomb ftw~! :D

  • I was wondering

What move is super effective against spiritomb?

Dark covers Ghost and Psychic attacks

    Ghost covers Fighting attack

And Dark and Ghost don't have more weaknesses?

    Please reply.

  • Bring a Scrappy Kangaskhan and use a Fighting move - there's your Super Effective!

(The general idea, though, is that Spiritomb has no type weakness in Defense)

  • @Gest00rd

No moves are. It basicly has the perfect typing.

  • @Gest00rd use fore sight then a figting type move

  • @zcarnesecca Doesn't the Ghost type Cover the Fighting move, even after an Aimed move like Lock-On, Mind Reader, Odor Sleuth or Foresight?

It stays a ghost type ..

  • @Gest00rd yeah but u still can hit it thats what foresight does

  • @Gest00rd not a single one, exactly because of it's type combination . This combo is shared with Sableye (the other Dark-Ghost); by the way, it can receive super effective hits only after attacks like Foresight (so it can be hit by a Fighting move)

  • @Jounathhann25 Hehe, was 1 year ago when I asked, I know the same things now.

    Thanks for the advice though!

Scrappy Kangaskhan with Hammer Arm in Trick Room team is now one of my favourites.

It owns Blissey users a lot too.

    Love that Kangaskhan.

  • @Gest00rd spiritomb doesn't have weakness

  • Imagine spiritomb with wondergaurd

  • Easily defeated by Toxic, Will-O-wisp, Hail, Sandstorm, Fire Fang, Confuse Ray, Leech Seed, Scrappy Pokémon, Mold Breaker Pokémon, Gastro Acid and Worry Seed.

  • Also remember than spiritomb doesn't have 1 hp, so that wouldn't be "Easily defeated" and Worry Seed just doesn't allow him to sleep which doesn't change much?

  • Well Scrappy and Mold Breakers can OHKO with a powerful super effective Fighting-type move(Superpower, anyone?) or you could stall with a combination of Toxic+Leechseed+Hail(i.e. an Abomasnow). I never said quick. It's just simple.

Also, if you are seriously that clueless about Worry Seed, I'll enlighten you:

"Changes the target's ability to Insomnia. This move fails if the target's ability is Truant or Multi-type."

That means bye-bye Wonder Guard. ;D

  • I never said quick either, but fighting type moves (usually used by fighting types) would be taken out by a Spiritomb with Psychic. But oh well, I just said Imagine, not give me a full on argument on what to do against it.

  • Actually, the only way to use a Fighting type move is to

    a) Be Scrappy, meaning you're Miltank or Kangaskhan

or b) Have Mold Breaker, meaning you're using Pinser or Rampardos.

Since most Spiritomb dont run Water Pulse/ Hidden Power Fighting/ Fire/ Ground/ etc., it probably won't be hitting for super effective damage.

  • @vicustwiddlesworth For Shedinja that works, indeed ...

But Spiritomb has a Ghost Type also ..

Which makes the Fighting move useless ..

It has the perfect type combination ..

For Shedinja, Carvanha/Sharpedo is also an easy death because of Rough Skin ..

I saw some people use that too just in case a Shedinja appears ..

It has Water and Dark type too ..

So it also Covers Psychic attacks, Sharpedo is more usefull than everybody thinks ..

    I love sharpedo.

  • spiritombs awesome

  • PLZ PLZ PLLLLZ HELP SOMONE im really pissed because ive tryed to get my hacked party online 13 times and it wont let me! but other people seem 2 get there hacked pokemon online there not bad eggs and there stats arent hacked at all moves arnt nothing at all! plz help my party is Blaziken-(shiny) Ho-oh Kyorge Feraligatr Garchop-shiny Latias And its not her shinys! cos i took them out and it still didnt work plz someone answer ill suscribe :)

  • How about don't hack you noob?..

  • calm down its im not 1 of those dick heds wiv all legendarys with maxed out stats all i hav is a blaziken feraligatr garchomp ho-oh venusaur and ho-oh

  • The point is you hack?... Just play fair tbh

  • Both garchomp and Ho-oh are Ubers.

    Shame on you.

  • i dnt use ho-oh belive it or not and garchomp isnt

  • Yes he is >;3

In competitive play garchomp is considered an Uber and only allowed if your doing an uber match. That means hes considered stronger the even some legendarys like Suicune and zapdos who are in OU tier.

  • oh :c

  • Sorry ^^;

Get a Salamence :3 Those guys are legal and they work just as well~!

  • but id b copying my bro cos he has 1 and wen we battle he b lik WTF wat about dragonite is that uber

  • Dragonites are legal and there OU teir same as Salamence. ;3

  • that spiritomb is so WIERD...AND I LIKE IT!!

  • you got owned

  • I thought I won?

    Yeah, I did.

  • @WhiteKhakis wow u really sock it to him lol

  • glaceon looks cool!

  • SPIRITOMB OWNZ! i had my chance to catch a shiny one but i accedentally fainted it with my Dialga's Roar of time. i used roar of time because i was sleepy and my screen was to bright

  • Dang that must have suck :(

  • poor you

  • I know that... but I caught another one.

  • lolz sweeped by a spiritomb. nice battle, EXTREMELY unfortunate for Joseph when you confused him after he used sword dance. never saw that happen before...

  • Certain Pokemon take MASSIVE damage when confused. It's basically a weak attack that the Pokemon is inflicting upon itself. Since Absol has such a high attack and low defense, well...

  • ..it hits hard, but plus sword dance...it's lethal. one question that been buggin me: did you predict he was gonna sword dance, or was it just coincidence?

  • I'd suspect that I expected him to attack. I had already boosted my Special Attack and had the chance of a OHKO on my side. I probably risked the Confuse Ray in case it would actually be a 2HKO hopefully only giving him one opportunity to attack if that were the case.

  • WhiteKhakis, I'm going to PUN-ish you for your video title! xD

  • (Hah!)

Believe it or not, they serve a purpose beyond inciting the wrath (and therefore notice) of others. They make it easier for me to remember what the video is about!

  • to bad have 300 pokemon battle

    of randow pokemon and more

    lose2out300 i can,t my smarth more

  • Wearing gloves?

  • hahahahhhahahahhahhaahha

  • Dang spiritomb looks awesome in battle rev.

  • em for people said that spirit tomb doesn't look like that your wrong it does i saw a episode were there was spirittomb and it did look exacly like that.

  • Lol Spirtomb doesnt look very well in this game.

  • Just wanted to give you props! I said this ot Overhazard too, kudos for using the pokemon you like!

You two are probably my favorite youtube battlers xP <3

  • Dang, I get a lot of people comparing me to Overhazard, even BEFORE those fights I had.

Interesting how it worked out that way...

    Thanks!

  • dark pulse in br as in ds is beautyful

  • I play PBR and Would love to Fight ya.

    Alakazam Kicks Butt!!!

Spiritomb rocks but if he went down your team might have been in for some hurt. I would have kept out the zam and blasted you till it went down.

  • Me to.. poke'mon ftw!

  • Right on!

  • i admire your videos i am going to subscribe =]

  • Awesome, thanks!

  • Nice battle.

Although if he did keep Alakazam out then you would of put him to sleep. But, then if he had syncronise you would be put to sleep.

So hypnosis might of not been the sensiblest option. You knew he was going two switch as he can do nothing so why not Nasty Plot?

  • Synchronize does not work against sleep.

  • I was expecting the switch; besides, I figured that the the risk of him leaving in Alakazam wasn't too big a deal.

    (Besides, if Numbuh214 is correct...)

Why'd I use it instead of Nasty Plot? Because with a Hypnosis I put a Pokemon out of comission AND I have time for at least one free Nasty Plot!

  • gah spiritomb looks messed up

  • Kinda like a Jack-o'-lantern gone all ethereal.

  • ait unagi in avatar on kioshi island

  • Uh, you're talking about what I think you're talking about, my naming him "Unagi" was not influenced by that.

  • lol unagi, nice name for the huntail

  • Thanks!

  • I'll REALLY REAAAAAAALLY like to see you battle a 6-on-6 bsttle!!!!!! :)

  • My teams were developed for PBR, though. Still, it can happen.

  • Huh? You mean Spiritomb is not EP trained?

  • DO you mean EV? If so, than yes they are. I'm just saying that I haven't created a team specifically for 6 on 6 battles. That's why I removed Steelix's Stealth Rock, for example.

  • FAILED! You didn't give them proper names!

Naw, I'm just joshing you, WK. You don't need to give 'em names - but personally I think it's bad form, calling a Pokemon something that it's not meant to be.

    Congrats on the win!

  • Well, uh, you see "A1" is named after the sauce (just don't call him weak!) and "4A" is an abbreviated version of "AAAA" - a scream.

    (Yeah...)

  • High attack + low defense = alot of recoil from confusion!

  • WOW Absol recoiled 1/2 its own HP with confusion!

  • I think he also doubled his attack power beforehand - didn't he use a Sword Dance? Normally he'd take away only a quarter, which is still quite a lot!

  • i thought i had subscribed, well ill try again cos i love watching ur battles. another gr8 match

  • Cool, thank you very much!

  • Excellent battle

  • Thanks!

  • Obtaining Spiritomb requires a lot of trouble (32 people to talk to in the Underground).....but the powerful spirit obtained this way is worth it, indeed....

    nice setup

  • You can kinda hack it though (I don't mean Sharking!)... All you have to do is find someone willing, and constantly leave and reenter the Underground remembering to talk to the person each time.

  • Well that was an expected sweep, nice work, you controlled that battle the entire time

  • Thanks.

  • Spiritomb has surprisingly adequate attack stats, even without the boost!

  • Much of it was because of the bad type matchup at the start, giving me a free turn.

  • From watching the exploits of "4A" (what do you suppose you'll name him one of these days?), I'm seriously starting to take a liking to the PBR attack animation for Dark Pulse.

This is definitely one of the better (if not the best) displays of its power so far.

  • I don't know, I keep forgetting to. My names never really stick to a specific pattern, so I don't have to worry about that. Oh, but I haven't given them real people names - I've always thought it a little awkward calling a dog "Charles", or anything like that. (Still, that's no rule!)

  • "That's the Spirit" indeed. The opponent's whole team getting swept by a single Pokemon. (in this case, Spiritomb.)
