Had a go on my brother in laws. then raced him with m NSR, beat him by a very long way... same with yamaha yzfr 125 there also slow.
They look amazing but youv'e been warned, the speed of them gets boring...

180 is pushing it, but true true it can. However I was thinking like this: if you're looking to buy a 125cc it is probably because there are cc restrictions in your country, otherwise you would buy a bike with a larger engine.
That said, in many countries (in Europe but probably elsewhere too) there are effect restrictions as well as size restrictions. Take Sweden for example,if you're 16-18 the NSR can only have 15 kW and not 22 thus it will not go 170 kph.

you cant derestrict a 4 stroke as its not restricted. you could probably get 80mph if you slipstream downhill on redline. Ive got 73mph out of mine on 9000revs as i dont wont to push it too hard.

j habite dans le Val d'oise (95) a eaubonne et j ai une gilera rcr50cc donc c est pour sa que j ai pensser a derbi paske derbi et gilera son enssemble (c est une moto po un scoot) et tu voi je l ai debrider a moitier paske ac mon gabarit et puis 45 defois c est un peu juste donc jprend 65km/h et j y monte facil donc c est pratique
paske mon prob c est : si je prend un sm j ai une bonne reprise mais je roule a 90 or sur l autoroute c est po terrible ou je prend une sportive comme la tiene qui va a 125 qui est l argement suffisant sur l autoroute mais jme demande si tu mes pas 3h avant d arriver a 125 paske sur une autoroute faut se lancer lol
comme tout 125, la gpr et la r125 n'aime pas le vent, je monte à 120 assez facilement une fois le moteur bien chaud, j'ai un pote qui a la r125 et il monte à 127 avec difficulté si il y a trop de vent ! perso j'aime ma gpr, j'ai le confort et la sécurité mais les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas donc il te faudra les essayer toutes les deux pour te faire ton avis !

la position de conduite est entre la sportive et la roadster ! très confortable, elle est moins éprouvante que la r125 et donc parfaite pour les ptites virées en campagne après ça dépend de ce que tu recherches comme moto !

Honda NSR goes about 60-70 mph which is 95 -110 kph.
130 kph for a 125cc at 15HP/10.9 KW @ 9250 rpm for a 4T 125 is pretty good. Not many standard 4T would match

This can't be called a "bike", in the early days, there were 250 2 strokes, which went up to 230 when tuned, Those were true beasts.
But now we have to keep the environment in mind, so that's why we have "light bikes"with 2 times less power.
I think this bike has something like 25 hp?

@StuntR69 what ur forgettin is that u said scooter which is mainly defined as 50cc or one that u stand on and use ur foot as an engine, 150KMH m8, this bike can reach 160KMh mildly tuned, 1 guy i went 2 uni with had 2008 version with loads of malossi n polini stuff n managed to get 120mph, n i gt n A at AS n A2 maths and i believe 160 is a greater number then 150, so sayin that this "scooter " is quicker is bull, which is what the original arguement was all about so blownout.

@StuntR69 Part 1: i cant decifer much of ur stuff but i'll try, speed takimeter, 1st off, we had a 200m straight road we went to end n placed laser timing barriers at 10m apart at the end of the 200m, pin point accurate, afterall it was Cambridge uni, thats wat we clocked n he said could prob go faster then that on a longer road, THIS IS A TUNED biked, also faster round corners is a crucial part so that werent "something random", this bike is definately quicker then urs in all diff aspects.

@StuntR69 sorry for late reply, crapy dell pc broke, reliability u made one go 25000KM but your a mechanic who probably rubs it every night, every other normal average person would get one and break after 100miles, whereas this derbi can go minimum of 25000km by average person and not break, yes ive been to italy but only to see what it was like and pizzas, not to race there, also i wouldn't get this bike myself for a 125 so dont get confused, id by kawasaki KLX125, dont know why, just different

j'aime bien le son du 4 temps, mais l'échappement d'origine ruine sa en étouffant trop le bruit ... on dirait une troçoneuse ... :'(
mon aprilia RS125 en 2 temps et échappement d'origine sonne trois fois plus agressive que sa ! ...
sinon SUPERBE moto, le carénages sont sublimes, ...
5000 et quelques euros c'est sa? pour une 4t, c'est franchement bien :-)
par contre change d'échappement l'ami, sa sera bien plus stylé comme bruit ;D

you cant derestrict a 4 stroke as its not restricted. you could probably get 80mph if you slipstream downhill on redline. Ive got 73mph out of mine on 9000revs as i dont wont to push it too hard.

j habite dans le Val d'oise (95) a eaubonne et j ai une gilera rcr50cc donc c est pour sa que j ai pensser a derbi paske derbi et gilera son enssemble (c est une moto po un scoot) et tu voi je l ai debrider a moitier paske ac mon gabarit et puis 45 defois c est un peu juste donc jprend 65km/h et j y monte facil donc c est pratique

comme tout 125, la gpr et la r125 n'aime pas le vent, je monte à 120 assez facilement une fois le moteur bien chaud, j'ai un pote qui a la r125 et il monte à 127 avec difficulté si il y a trop de vent ! perso j'aime ma gpr, j'ai le confort et la sécurité mais les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas donc il te faudra les essayer toutes les deux pour te faire ton avis !

la position de conduite est entre la sportive et la roadster ! très confortable, elle est moins éprouvante que la r125 et donc parfaite pour les ptites virées en campagne après ça dépend de ce que tu recherches comme moto !
