Your job is a trainer right? Like you go to clients homes? You should do a video of you working with maybe a dog reactive/aggressive dog and how you interact and work with them, Id love to see some real life situations (:
I have a 4 months old husky (got her when she was 1 1/2 month) and followed a lot of your advices and she is becoming the best friend i could ever wish for. thank you so much, your videos made me understand my dog much more :)
This young guy is smart as hell! I met and filmed Gary Wilkes for 2 days and am friends with the creator of the award winning 'Take a Bow, Wow' series.
This young fellow is helping anyone who will watch and absorb what he has presented. THIS is what will save dogs' lives... most dogs abandoned in shelters are there for 'behavior problems' and we know who is responsible for the dog's training !
How do u teach ur puppy to play fetch?..My puppy take the ball comes right at me but wants me to chase him instead...Is it juz him or is there smthing i can do to play fetch?
Hey, tab. Could you tell me the make of that tether you're using in this video? I want something like that because there are no gated fields where I walk some dogs. I'd like to work on fetch with some of them.
Excellent comments! The idea that training could and even should be fun for both seems foreign to so many people. I think Ian Dunbar has posted about this also. Getting past just the science part, past the intellectualism and using it in a manner that combines reaching training goals with establishing the relationship/bond with our companion animal. He speaks of taking the animal's POV into consideration. Very valid points and I'm glad to see you also going this way. So I say - basketball!
I have another question for you Tab... Is there a way to teach a release command? For example, when I'm training my dog, he'll do the trick for me and when I say "good boy" he releases, but I don't want him to release until I tell him to. How do I go about teaching him to release on a different command, yet still be able to tell him that he's a good boy?
Great video, Tab :) You explain everything so well and clearly, it's a pleasure to watch you work with dogs!
I loved the fact that Solea likes the worn out tennis ball much better than the other ones. It's a terrific demonstration of how dogs don't demand the best things in life!
good video, I like how you said it was about being genuine and making a connection. I think the you should explore the concept of relationship more in depth.
is it bad to leave your puppy at home for about 3 hours a day while your at school/work? the puppy is 6 weeks old i know he is 2 young but the mom died no ones fault...
Great video Tab, I missed watching them! I''m going to begin working on Closing doors with Leo based on your tutorial, thanks so much! Can't wait for your next video! :)
Thanks for the video helps alot :) .. i have just one question my dog trains our dog and he is very good at it but we keep the dog outside in our yard so when our dog escapes sometimes and my brother usually spanks (hit) him . is that the right decision what should we need to do in these situations .. tnx your the best
@AlexFashionPolice Hitting/punishing the dog will only damage the relationship that you have with him. I don't think that it is ever a good idea to do that, in any situation. You would want to work on making sure that the dog does not escape in the first place.
hi! I have a problem with my dogwhen he has to bring the ball.Sometimes my dogleaves the ball on the ground a few meters. How to solve this problem?
