I know stoners and hippies probably like him, but that's not the kind of people he would want to be following him in a revolution. He's an extremely spiritual man, and he's against all forms of drug use.

He is an Orthodox Hasidic Jew. He certainly does not smoke marijuana.

@JosephMBoyer You can't say say he smokes marijuana because he said he did when he was 17, or because he doesn't judge people who do smoke marijuana.

I don't judge people who smoke, but I don't do it myself.

When Matisyahu was 17 he wasn't an Orthodox Jew. Even his newest single "Smash Lies" talks about how it's self-destruction to smoke and get high.
