  • Through empty words we can find words by using the Voice of the soul , even in the pupil of 1000 eyes , we follow our own path our own perrenial quest because within our overactive imaginations we are without judgement even if we all are living monstrositys at heart , we bit the pain until we are shown in human form and all realize our own lack of comprehension , until our last days when they pull the plug .

  • i FUCKEN love this song!! Its my favorite. Some dude called me a faggot when he heard me listening to the begining. but then he heard Chuck sing and he wuz like WTF and he walked away. RIP Chuck Schuldiner........

  • @0BLACKSABBATH

You should have smacked that prick.

  • @0BLACKSABBATH what an idiot,I bet my ass that when he says "I listen to metal" he means Slipknot and other shitty bands.

  • Chuck was a talented fellow to be able to play and sing like this.

He was so intense and serious about it. I wonder if his intense focus and drive took part in him getting a brain tumor.

  • @capoman1

Actually, he possibly had it from childhood. The type of brain tumor was more common among children than adult people, so it was likely that he had had it from childhood, and it had grown slowly.

However, he did push himself really hard the last years. He was a perfectionist, and he didnt consider his material to be good enough for himself nor his fans, so he pushed himself harder to make it better.

Or that is what I have read atleast, if I remember correctly.

  • epic song

  • Thricegod1288's post is such blatant flame bait, I won't say anything more than that.

  • chucks the best guitarist in the world

    RIP MAN

  • fail troll is a fail

  • seconded

  • thricegod1288 you have bad taste in music if you dont like it then go suck a ballsack and support music not rumors

  • So what do you like?

  • @thricegod1288 go kill yourself if you think everything sucks.your a sack of shit and you suck.

  • @thricegod1288 Your funny. Ha ha

  • Does anyone know what song Chuck is playing in the first few seconds in the footage at the bcrich com site /chuckstealth ?

  • Flesh And The Power It Holds

  • Its flesh and the power it holds

  • Look at that. Pure talent had to die 8 years ago.

He could play lead and sing at the same time, even while playing brutal rythms!!!

Why does amazing talent have to die???

  • amazing talent still exists,

the music industry thrives off of business now, its pathetic.

but talent is there, just not recognized

Death was a start of something big, a musical revolution.

and the bands today that i've grown to respect wouldnt be the same without Chucks impact

    RIP

me, plus a shitload of die-hard metal fans still rock out to death today. still the best

  • Amen to that Brother. Wanna hear SERIOUS Death Metal talent?

Look up Mutant Christ by Crypstopsy. Viciously brutal song, and the guitar lead is one of the most technical that I've ever heard.

  • haha its funny you mention that because i love that song :P but cryptopsy has totally lost it now.

  • Very true. I had an oppertunity to see them a couple weeks back and I literally said NO because of how they are now.

Flo Mounier isnt even with them anymore.

  • exactly! it died when lord worm left

  • What a Death Metal Champion.... Lord Worm.... You know it's him the minute you hear it.

  • @blackseedsofvengance

    PHOBOPHILE!

I want to wear a Cryptopsy shirt but I am afraid now....

  • exactly, its just fucked up now. deathcore ruins everything. but old cryptopsy was some of the best death metal you will ever hear. like not even the really really old stuff, 'once was not' is probably one of my favorite albums to date

  • @DreamyGhost1492 CLOSE YOUR EYES, THIS MAY HEART ALOT!

  • My favorite death song. RIP Chuck thanks for saving my life

  • 8 years ago today. we miss you dude.

  • @88xmetal 9 years ago today. we still miss chuck schuldiner and always will.

  • Chuck was one of the greatest musicans the world ever seen - his sounds and lyrics... not from this World

  • best... death... song... ever.

Only my opinion, but sure does it for me, it does, it does. RIP Chuck. v.v

  • @TrunJun420 I LOVE ALL OF THEM!

Want you join me, on this perennial quest. reaching into the dark, retreiving ligth.

  • How much more is there to be said? Chuck said it all. The master: Chuck Schuldiner.

  • 1:34 Rules!

  • I just want to start a band to tribute the best metal band in history

    DEATH!!!!!!!!

  • Second best, btw. Gogo Cynic. ;D

  • 5:14 - jesus christ!

  • This is was one of the best death metal concerts

  • Chuck was a true Metal heart. He played the music he loved and thats the most important thing, unfortunately theres too many posers around these days

Its not how you look, dress or your race! Its about the music. the words of Chuck Schuldiner, "SUPPORT MUSIC" !!

R.I.P Bro we'll always miss you.

  • A master cannot be silenced. Though his hand and voice may be stilled, we can always listen to and love his music. Chuck's music will live on. It will live on through us. All of us. Let us bow to Chuck Schuldiner: il maestro.

  • Clear truth

  • Nice comment man, respect.

  • @MartianForest

    Only the good die young!

    RIP Chuck.

  • those words will ring in my mind forever "ashes and promises, share a bond, through the winds of change, words are blown away, when visions that should be, are tattooed in your mind, the power to let go is sometimes hard to find. The answer cannot be found in the writings of others, or the words of a trained mind" Chuck was a master of words. RIP my metal friend.

  • I really think dealing with his brothers death then cancer helped him to find what he thought was important in life

  • one of the best Death songs

    Great setlist ...

    Ritual Zombie

    Empty Words

    1000 Eyes

    Symbolic

  • At 1:25ish... He is playing a solo and singing... i have never seen that O.O god hes good.

  • death metal anthem.. end of history

  • And he's not even that close lol.

  • Watch Chuck's eyes, the way he's staring while singing. His eyes speak much more than posing.

  • I will never understand how someone can play guitar this excelent way while singing.

  • Why... it's easy. Chuck was (is) the best.

  • Right:)

  • @vadyxxx EASY - next time you're born, make sure your parents name you Chuck Schuldiner then invent death metal. See? Super simple...\m/
