Black loyalty to the Democratic party:Time for a change?

Nixon got a large percent of black voters and he called blacks stupid and pushed for policies to incarcerate them. Reagan pushed for policies to give blacks longer sentences and slashed funding to inner city schools. Republicans are judge for their racist actions today especially trying to block dem voters.

The argument against the minimum wage is ridiculous. Every civilized country has a minimum wage, what sort of ultra right ideology are you trying to feed here?. Republican policies lead to more people going to prison, because they focus on punishment rather than rehabilitation.

The solution has to begin with education. How people think.

Black people need to think for themselves and do for themselves.

From that a new set of values will evolve that will be better for their

community.

Any group that is well educated, will eventually strive, no matter what their

economic situation is (eg Japan/Germany after WWII).

Just an observation, looking from the outside (I'm in the UK).

The Republican arguement is pay more black people less than minimum wage,

hence reduce unemployment, and with lots of hard work that group will slowly

climb the social ladder. The truth is the majority will remain a very poor

working class, and the rich will get much richer. Nothing significant will change.

The Democrat arguement is to humanly look after people who can develop themselves

but choose not to. This leads to a welfare trap.
