It's really wierd to see clegg and other videos involving other government "elected" ministers making arguments like this when they have come into power attacking those who are unemployed, cutting child benefit, abolishing the ctf, make hundreds of thousands of public sector workers unemployed, attack students and do everything they can to abolish the 50p tax rate.

So now he is in power are the pensioners getting more money this winter that when Gordon was in power. My friends have just had their child benefit taken away, they are now struggling where the were not before. This government is making those that were not poor more financially vulnerable, add to that the knock on effect of cuts, which is impacting on some private sector jobs who provided services that were previously funded, not to mention the public sector jobs themselves. Where is the growth?

A) I dislike Clegg because he is almost the archetype of the worst kind of politician who will say anything to advance himself. I think he is self-aggrandizing, dishonest and peculiarly brittle and spiteful when called out.
B) Failure to get a majority didn't mean that he had to enthusiastically go along with very radical, often poorly thought out policies that very few in his party wanted and none of the floating voters he courted wanted.

No, people should be allowed to vote for whoever they want. I am a small c conservative, and unfortunately voted for Cameron. He received a pathetic 36.1% share of the vote, so I would have encouraged a Lib/Lab coalition. If the public didn't want spending cuts, they can suffer the consequences as interest rates sky-rocket and the economy crashes. Then the IMF cuts spending for us.

AV will lead to a much fairer voting system where our vote is truly represented. No one asked for this coalition, but that's what we got with this FPTP system.
