  • Can you send me a copy but give the euphonium the horn part and the tuba the euphonium part

  • you should do an euphonium arrangment for the song headstrong by trapt :D Pleaaaaaaaaseeeee? Please send it to me at Kill_muh_love22@yahoo.com. and please tell me how to get this program you use. I'll love you forever if you do! <3

  • NO TUBA WTH... im mad >:(

  • @BeatDrumSticks there is tuba actually in this score, you just cant see it due to my recording screen.

  • You should make a trombone trio for the song Super Drunk by the band First Place

  • I do believe the main chorus of the trumpets should be slurred, though I might be wrong.

  • @MassacrMan no you're completely right.

  • Great job arranging but this isn't it.

  • Omg Dax Johnson is a good pianist.

  • Isn't this song like one of the songs libra sang? Santas i think that's what it was called?

  • i thought cannin was typically played in D

  • @Rolltide339 Well this isnt exactly Canon, this is Phantom Regiments "Sanctus" which due to range requirements and tonality, and their switch into their next piece is put in this key.

  • @Rolltide339 phantoms cannon is in Bb i think it was pacabels original version that was in D

  • You should do firebird into canon like PR does

  • i love this on my French horn

  • ha i'd give it a try but i doubt anyone else would want to ill see what my friends say

  • send to my e-mail, plis

  • its a bit slow. nice ending tho.

  • @euphoniumification

    that's what makes it good!

  • Ok the brass really need to empty their spit valves.

  • This is midi sound dude, the clicking you hear is from the microphone i used to record this =), i dont exactly have super steady hands =P

  • whats with the trombone part?

  • lol i know, and no tuba's either. lol This version of Canon in D is def. not the most accurate..... also, the video is not in sync with the video.... but hey, i don't have this type of program and i haven't tried to put Phantom's Canon on print... so, w/e idc.

  • actually there is a tuba part and the trombone part may seem boring, but this isnt a showcase for trombones and they get sidelined as block chords most the time. You just cant see all the parts on the video because the recording area isnt wide enough to hold them all, i can assure you this is quite accurate except for the ending which i made myself.

  • @WoWBandits He didn't say that cause that part is boring its cause DCI doesnt use trombones.

  • Ah, you are correct then sir. In the video i watched i mistakes the baritone sound for trombones. But there are definatly tubas in this since1- you can hear them, and 2- you can see them in any of PR's shows, lol

  • well trombones LOVE ME!!! i gave you a part in this magnificent song!

  • wow awesome i play horn and trumpet

  • What program is this?

  • Finale (MakeMusic)

  • yellowmanffxfrk, its finale notepad 2006.

  • i want to get my director to do that we would sound hella good

  • Why can't I find a brass version of the original pachelbel canon. I'm just going to write my own. I'm tired of looking.

  • I can't seem to find one either.

  • i actually have one written and will be posting it soon

  • cool let me know when you do

  • I don't see how people are content with Finale. No offense to your writing, by any means, it looks good. I'm referring to the sounds finale has. Awful..

  • if not finale, what do you recommend?

  • Sibelius. The newest version has great sounds, and it's incomparable next to finale.

  • Oh cool, how much is it? Do you know? Because I am not happy with Finale.

  • It's around $599, unless you get the student/teacher discount. Then it's $300, but you have to either be enrolled in school (not sure if high school counts) or a teacher at a school.

  • if only we had a french horn player

  • Trumpet solis the best

  • Nice..

  • Pretty good, might want to watch for some of the non-chord tones that you added in between the horn melody and the trumpet parts though, there's some un called for dissonance in a space that should all be blissful harmony. Very good job otherwise...

  • yes!!!! i have been looking all over the internet for this!

  • Wowbandits,

Hey can you send or post a link for me to the french horn part only for this sheet music?

    Thank you so much!

  • give me like 6 months for the end of the year concert. and im gonna get a brass ensemble and play this.

  • close but some chords are off a bit. and some of the mello moving parts are a tad off

  • cool i play this at my high school for warming up

  • cool, what do you play?

  • trombone, you?

  • haha trombone( both bass and tenor) is my main, i've been playing for like 7 years. But for this marching season I switched to tuba.

  • Ive been thinking of doing the same thing next year. I want to switch to tuba because tenor mouthpieces are so small and I want to major in bass trombone. Has tuba helped your bass trombone playing much?

  • I guess you can say so, Its really helped my air forsure. Tuba is really fun cept the moral in my section sucks :S

  • I know how that feels. Thats another reason why i want to switch sections but Thanks

  • haha, cool beans. Good luck :3

  • The actual name of this piece is called "Sanctus" pronounced "Sahn-toos"...It was a piece designed to expand on Pachelbel's Canon in D, hence the many similiarities...and it was used as a warm-up by Phantom Regiment and the Blue Devils but PR decided to add it to the beginning of their actual show...hope that helps!

  • hey if you want ill throw some guys together this week and get a vid recorded.... it sounds sweet...

  • Very good my only gripe is that the phantom regiment version is a speeded up version of canon in D. my point being that your arangement is not in D. still very good =D

  • thats why i named it Canon instead of Canon in D

  • lol. ill see if i can upload me and my firends doing this. we change up the notes for 2 altos 3 tenors and 2 bari saxes. you should hear it.

  • no offense. i just have nothing to arrange and im bored.

  • Is it okay if i Re-arrange this?

  • well, sure i guess but why would ou want to change this, its perfect =P

  • Thank you very much. I highly appreciate your cooperation to do so. Please Private Message me via YouTube with link when done.

  • Ok?

  • working on it

  • Upload a solo french horn copy of it to 4shared as well

  • sounds great man

  • For the win! do you have perfect pitch?

  • its getting very very close to that actually, its still a work in progress but i believe you could say that yes, i have perfect pitch for the most part.

  • hahahaha awesome

  • I like the FH part ; )

  • if you put a like to dowload it ill be more than happy to get me and people from my band to play it

  • UNBELIEVABLE!!! Nice!

  • Awesome!

  • ....wow.

  • Made of win.
