  • Looks like Richardson resigned, this is the change we can believe in folks.

  • During the beginning obama looks left and right allot.

  • If he is he doesent know it himself, so keep your comment to yourself. its obvies he is trying to do a difference. Future will tell.

  • barack obama = jimmy carter. see you in 4 years.

  • Great!

    Go Obama!!!

  • We will legalize and champion wise hemp use and medical applications.

  • Where is Bush?

As you can see Captain Hazelwood, I mean Bush has left the bridge, knowledge, wisdom and the lawful ways of a honest president to retire to his sleeping quarters with a bottle gin and rammed the Exxon Valdez; ...sorry once again, I mean the nation on the jagged rocks. Captain President-Elect Obama your job is to get us freed, patched up, repaired, doubled hulled and navigate the iceburgs plus turbulent waters. No pressure but good luck President Obama and Vice-President Biden.

  • Millions of us voted for obama KNOWING it was our RIGHT that his eligibility be verified and they FAILED us. We DEMAND our vote for obama be taken back by LAW. 392

  • His eligibility has yet to be truly challenged, so just what are you talking about?

  • Millions of us voted for obama KNOWING it was our RIGHT that his eligibility be verified and they FAILED us. We DEMAND our vote for obama be taken back by LAW. 293

  • My comment on the god is not posted. This is the change I dreaded. America is going to change. It is in a delirium.

  • Yobama, election's over. Stop the gibber. You can fool some, not all.

  • The first horseman to appear is Pestilence, who rides upon a sickly, decaying horse. Pestilence causes the decay and imminent destruction of the worlds crops and wildlife. In the wake of Pestilence comes Famine, a large and portly rider riding upon a thin and sickly horse, symbolizing gluttony and the lack of food. In the wake of Famine, due to immense fighting over the remaining food supplies, is War. War rides upon a red horse and wields a tremendous sword which he uses to slay the millions.

  • WTF are you talking?

  • Obama won't be president elect untill January 6th. As of right now he is not technically.

  • Wow, a President not at war with the English language! What an elitist...

  • I think he even knows how to pronounce 'nuclear'!

  • barack obama = jimmy carter. see you in 4 years.

  • So you would want Obama to screw the country even further just because he's a democrat, rahter than hope that he does a good job of cleaning up your mess? If he doesn't get things back on track, Democrats can just say that the economy was so bad off that even the best man for the job couldn't fix it; that it was and is and will be a doomed economy.

  • I can only imagine how immature George Bush's meetings would have looked had he used the internet to broadcast his meetings.

  • If we disclose the hidden UFOs technologies we solved all our Energy, Environmental and Economic problems for the ENTIRE planet.

Wake-up people all our government are traitors.

We need to charge them for High Treason and Crimes against Humanity before it's too late.

  • one word-----WASHINGTON'itis....lmao

  • Join more than 150,000 others in signing WND's online petition calling for release of Barack Obama's birth certificate and verifying beyond any shadow of a doubt his constitutional eligibility for office.

  • so refreshing!

  • sounds like a frog croacking when he says uh all the time. lol

  • He's so awesome.

  • I cannot fault this approach, it is exactly what I would do in his position. Very calm, sensible and mature way of doing politics.

  • thank you for these modern day fire side chats

  • Not only is it more personable but it allows government to see what's interesting the public. And they can even get ideas in the comments. A win win decision.

  • I watched half of this video and Mr. Obama... you said "Uh" like 60 times..

Great content.. A few too many "Uh"s

  • If he makes great policy decisions, he can say "Uh" all he likes! :D I'm not sure if he had a script, so give him a break.

  • You are not forced to listen to him!

  • Listen to Bush.. tell me what you like better. Somebody who is intelligent and gets his point across with the occassional "Uh" or someone who stumbles and bumbles and can't put a coherent sentence together.

  • You actually counted the number of uhs. That's a lil sad yo

  • I have to agree with GoodTunesFtw - please keep up the updates and good work. Wonderful message at the end to both Republican and Democratic governors.

  • Who's running the country? It's a democracy. All 300 million of us are running the country. A President's job is to set up the executive branch to let the best ideas filter up to the White House so the President can put them before Congress.

In reality, only a small fraction of Americans get fully involved in the process of telling Congress what to do. That should change. That's the change we need.

Of course, most of the time, government's only contribution is wisely targeted funding.

  • I too like that he is at least tackling things head out.

  • Mr future President, thank you so much for posting these videos. Great idea!

  • Just a comment about Obama's appearance. During the campaign he was photographed very much on his own - speeches and the like. Thus, we couldn't gage his physical size. Since the election, however, he's frequently surrounded by other men. It's hard to put this into words but - he doesn't look as big as he sounds. If there is some way to make him appear physically larger I think it would help his overall image.

Thank you and continued luck with the transition

  • I saw him in person... he is about 6'1... his face makes him look smaller, but he's a pretty big guy. Bigger then Bush.

  • Thank you Mr. President. Thank you so very much.

  • Why can't the press be in when the real discussion is happening? Isn't this the kind of thing we wanted to change?

  • I like this new approach on communicating with the public. I appreciate it.

  • Peter Schiff would make a great economic adviser...

He's been right in predicting every step of this crisis while people were mocking him. Now, CNN has him only almost daily, and acknowledges that he was right all along.

    Don't re-inflate the bubble please.

Also, if you want more revenue, legalize marijuana and tax it! End the drug war and save BILLIONS (not to mention the saving from all those non-violent drug offenders being released). Not sure if the latter would happen tho, ex post facto.

  • Would be fantastic, but I don't think the govt will legalize weed.

  • Ok, I appreciate his remarks. Until the end. The press should not leave gatherings like this. They were not talking about national security, nor top secret information. The ideas they discussed and the plans they presented to the President-Elect were ideas and plans that affect every single person in this country. I want to know what was presented. I don't want statements from Governors, I want to WATCH THE PRESENTATIONS FIRST HAND. Anyone else feel that way?

  • I understand your point, but the Governors wouldn't be candid, etc the way Obama needs to hear them to be.

  • I can understand the need for confidentiality in a frank discussion of issues. What if someone proposed laying off workers in their government structure because it was a way to save money? Now the unions would be pissed off and obstructive on many issues. But all potential solutions should be on the table, even if decided against.

  • Having worked in fields that required confidentiality, I understand the need for the press to be gone. This is not the time to air everything. THis is not the time for commentary by reporters. This is time for business, and when they get it ironed out, present it to the people.

  • I wonder, who pays for this "transition project" including these videos? Is it a government function? Is it part of the campaign?

  • The campaign is no longer, except for the purpose of paying off bills they incurred. That's one reason why this channel is separate from the campaign one, as I think there is some prohibition of the use of campaign tools for governing. They may or may not need to keep the transition tools separate from the ones they ultimately use. The transition has a budget of 12 million, with 5.2 million would be paid by the federal government and the remaining 6.8 million raised from private sources.

  • videos are cheap. anyway... in my mind it's money well spent. An informed public is an empowered government.

I really appreciate the new approach of this president!

  • ME TOO! This man not only preached inclusiveness but he is practicing it. He revolutionized the way campaigns are run and will revolutionize the way a President Governs. God Bless him.

  • It is nice for our president-elect to have a dialogue with the people.

  • The campaign was over on November 4th. The Transition is a separate organization that focuses on taking over the Executive Branch. It has a $6 Million federal budget plus the funds that are raised by the Transition.

  • Thanks. I was wondering why they were still asking donations. This makes sense now.

  • I hope this Man can do what he says he can, I didn't vote for him But if he keeps this mind set, Maybe I will vote for him next time!

  • Energy independence.

  • Not printing money is good. Sarbanes-Oxley is bad legislation, good to be rid of, since the implicit criminalisation of business persons will cripple the entrepreneurship America badly needs. This will also encourage business not to seek security for capital in foreign tax havens. An assault on foreign tax havens as a remedy encourages entrepreneurs to not do anything beyond the absolute minimum. You can't tax a middle-class less, when it is not able to earn, as Germany has discovered.

  • Damn, he just exudes confidence! No doubt he will get this nation back on it's feet.

  • there you go Mr.President elect take the problem head on

  • Hey Obama!

How are you gonna tighten relations with Canada?

  • This sort of leadership makes me envious of America for the first time in 8 years.

As a Canadian with a strong and working government and a strong economy, I felt happy to be north of the 49th parallel for the past 8 years. Now our Canadian government is being overthrown in a very dirty underhanded way, while I see strong leadership and an attempt at unity from Obama and America.

Your leadership is a great example for the rest of the World, I hope our Canadian leaders are watching and learn.

  • Barack and Joe will be the best president and vice-president in american history, can't wait for jan 20th.

  • Future Presidential candidates take notes. This is good governing and he's not even in office yet. I really feel as if that alot of future Presidents could learn things from President elect Obama.

  • Nice to see someone actually doing something to clean up this mess.

  • I am so grateful that President Elect Obama won the election and is already busy tackling this country's issues.

BTW, where is our current prez ? - MIA, as usual.

  • Seeing and hearing the President Elect and Vice President Elect this way is infinitely superior to a random sound bite on the evening news with the reporter's re-interpretation of what I'm being prevented from hearing & seeing.

  • Thank you for sharing, and I hope once the transition takes place, you and the administration can continue to stay in touch with us, and give us a way of communicating as you have done through out the campaign and this transition project; I see it as a key component in getting everyone, Americans and other nations, staying on tack and allowing us to contribute toward the same goal

    Thank you again

  • This is amazing. :)
