  • endgame king

  • i think a5 is ok, kind of like in soltis dragon but opposite side, where white sacks two pawns

  • nice, simple usage of passed pawn at the end there

  • Gotta do something special for your 500th blitz game KC! :)

  • What about 20.Ne5 Nxe5 21.Nc5+

  • thanks for the vids. What is the website you're playing?

  • LOL! I love it.

"Oh! What's this? ... Ah ha!"

    Sometimes, KC, so British.

  • Wow, did he ever blow it.

  • To be honest, u can play f3 and still beat 1500's if you master all your tactics! Tactics should be your first name when your under 1800.

  • You don't need to master tactics to beat 1500s...

  • i kinda meant the basic tactics, but ye, btw, whats your fide rating/ a common chess website rating xXxWilleExXx?

  • whats a good way for a beginner to learn chess? Stick to one opening and master it or?

  • @ddstar play like 1000 games, try to figure out as much as possible on ur own, then buy an opening book and watch all kingscrushers vids :)

  • @mikxer heh i guess the only t hing left is to play more games and buy a book :)

  • When your playing white learn 1 variation and try to get good at it, but with black you should learn some of the basic responses to most common openings.

  • do many tactical puzzles they help for the middle game, learn basic knowledge of the game, like good and bad bishops, when are knights stronger than just play you will get better eventually

  • the best learning tool in chess I ever used was a copy of chess master for the pc.

I learnt more from the lessons on there than any book or program i have ever used since.

  • Dang, thanks for all the responses guys/gals...!

  • chess master lmao

  • why is that funny?

  • Personally, I'd say try to learn more uncommon openings if you plan to play in tournaments. No one ever really expects anything different from the really common stuff and will have no idea what to do. Learn 1 opening for white and a solid defence for common white openings when playing as black. If you feel comfortable with them, you could also try a gambit opening.

  • Good! You saved that game out of the gates of hell. That's blitz!

  • cool
